Those are all examples of extremely stupid shit adults say to young children, mostly because they don't actually see the childrens as people, but more like glorified houseplants.

I wouldn't say it's "heteronormative agenda", though.

It is indeed. Honestly, I'm astonished by how delusional one has to be to claim that you did nothing wrong, that its culture and the laws fault. Yeah, culture should change to suit you, when culture long ago decided that diddling the kiddies might be a bad thing. Even the Ancient Greeks, with their weird fixation on children, gave it up.

There is a reason the age of consent laws are in place, James. I know this is fucking obvious to everyone and it should be to you too but I'm going to lay it down anyway. It's to keep adults from taking advantage of children whose brains are significantly less developed than theirs. You can spew your bullshit about children "wanting" and being "mature" enough to have sex as young as the age of 7 but in the end there isn't any room for debate in this topic because it's SCIENCE. Basic fucking biology. They just don't have the brains to understand and the result of rape (because it's not sex. that implies the child is capable of giving consent) will result in trauma.

It might not ruin their lives (you say your victim told you it didn't) but it will make it shitty beyond belief for an indeterminate amount of time. Again, basic science. When you're 16 and a child asks you for sex it's your responsibility as the adult in the situation to say NO. No matter what the child thinks it wants. Children will do things that can injure them (mentally or physically) because they don't know better. It's our job to not let them do things that can end in trauma. Just like we don't let them play in the street because of the possibility of them being hit by a car. Or let them use sharp objects like knives. While a child might desire to play in the street or with a knife, and while they might not injure themselves in the process, it is our job as adults to not let them. Because we know better. They don't.

Just to powerlevel a bit, I work with children not that much younger than the ones you describe wanting to fuck. They believe in Santa. They need help with cutting their food and want the cores cut out of their apples because otherwise they'll take one bite and then throw it away. When they hurt themselves I can magically fix it by blowing where the pain is. I constantly have to remind them that if another child hurts them they can't just get upset, they also have to tell them to stop. Ask them to paint an apple and they will paint some abstract shit that would put Robert Delanuay to shame. Not because they're great at art, but because they're stupid. Because they're too young to be able to paint a simple thing like an apple.
Do you honestly think humans that small who do stuff like that are capable of understanding and desiring the complex emotions that come with sex? If so you're not just a deviant, you're a fucking moron too.

Due to the patchwork nature of Federal law, the jurisdiction of the postal inspectors includes the internet, as it's considered a form of mail (I know, old view, but there you go), so his Twitter/Tumblr posts may have attracted their attention because they may have logically concluded he was trafficking in child porn. They may have not had the authority to arrest him for confessing to raping the girl, but if he really was interrogated, they would have called the local cops and given them the information. So I think he's full of shit. I know cops aren't popular right now, but I seriously doubt even the most lazy of investigators would have let a confession slide.

As an aside, I said it before, but if I'm reading Indiana law correctly, the statute of limitations doesn't expire until the victim turns 30, so if she chooses, she can still file a complaint against both her father and James. Since James has plastered the internet with his confession, even a moderately skilled DA could get a conviction.

He's clearly an utter moron with no grasp of the fact that the average, normal person seeing the shit he says and does will want to see him curbstomped to death.

I can see him gleefully reliving the details, assuring himself that if he just explains it was love, surely the police will let that slide. No matter how many times we explain that what he did was unforgivable, and that we will never let it go, the horny pervert just thinks we have the problem in not accepting child rape as normal.
