We have a higher-than average percentage of left-wingers in here, because Jerry makes an equally terrible example of how to be one of those (at least until the Overton window shifts again), so we've mostly settled into an unspoken truce: we're here to laugh at Jerry, not pick fights with each other over why we laugh at Jerry.

At least in my case i prefer saying "she" only for filling her desillusion for being a trans. She actually doesn't deserve anything good for all the shit she done in the past and still currently. Oh, and laughing. Never forget about that.

What others have said, I'm a lefty localized entirely in this single thread and have respect for trans people in general, even if I don't respect Lily herself. Unlike her I actually think that someone's identity shouldn't be conditional on whether I like/agree with the person. (sure she harps on and tries to show that she does, but in practice she calls other trans people TERFS and drag queens)
And like A_Callow_Youth said, we generally understand that we aren't gonna change anyone's minds one way or the other in regards to her name and pronouns, but we can all agree that she's a terrible person and laugh at/shit on her regardless.

Ugh, the flash effect really is overkill, as is the editing - but you know what? This is probably the most pleasant thing Lily has done in a while. Also a much better way to motivate herself to work on her video instead of bitching online. Congrats Lily!

So weird animation factoid/tip/whatever, if you put a brief white flash, it kind of makes you do a little flinch. That's why if you see animated stuff, right before a punch connects, or some kind of strike, you'll almost always see that white flash.

It definitely can be jarring. I say this as a resident leftist on this thread who openly supports not misgendering/deadnaming them. But there was definitely a point where I didn't know Lily was trans for up to like.. a full year after her transition? And I was still a fan of hers at the time, I just genuinely assumed she was a dude with a female avatar named 'Lily'. She made no real effort to try and portray herself as a woman in her videos until she like flat out said in a Q&A that she was trans and it finally clicked for me.
Mik is different because in my opinion her voice does sound genuinely a bit more effeminate than an average mans, but after seeing the video @ÁchtunaRoll posted I can see there's no real difference between now and her pre-transition. Which is odd because Mik has stated she's doing vocal therapy to try and sound more feminine..
Still though I know what it's like to be a normal cis-woman with a deep voice and so I'm not exactly one to judge others on how masculine their voice may sound, as it's not entirely an accurate way of judging another persons identity. That being said, I don't think it's weird that their voices seem off putting, especially since they make no real attempts to come off as feminine in the first place.

To be fair one thing is doing vocal therapy and another one is force your throat to remember to keep that up all the time. It's an extra effort that would take a long while to get used to so it comes off naturally. It's possible that she simply doesn't see the point of even trying during a stream when it's clear Liliana's not trying either anyway, but on her everyday life she does make the effort. Without knowing much about her as a person or see her interacting on any other place I don't know.
The worse explanation is that Liliana herself asked her to use her natural voice for streams so she doesn't have to feel feel self conscious about her own and throw her out, just like she did with Nellie. I wouldn't be shocked if that was the case.

It looks like she may not be transitioned on paper. Once you know that name her world in New York is open to you. Google has her damn voter card and address just sitting there.
