You're over fixated on earning money as an "achievement" because as a male, you can never accomplish anything anywhere remotely as miraculous and great as giving birth. The root of your behavior is a term called "uterus envy". It's when men try to overcompensate for their minimal role in the reproductive process by fluffing up other achievements (building stuff, earning money, winning medals, etc). "Uterine envy" also includes when men (and even sometimes women) demean or refuse to recognize the miracle of bringing human life into the world.
"Uterine envy" is also the root of Patriarchy: the attempt by men to convince women that it is women who are lower than men. It's an attempt to control a woman's power: her uterus. I find it funny when men try to make their wife feel that they have to jump through all these hoops to continue to impress him (fortunately, Marshall isn't like this). Especially Christian husbands throwing Proverbs 31 in women's faces. For fucks sake, the woman grew and birthed a human being out of her body. Let him bend over backwards to show his "thank you" for the rest of his life!
No building built, no medal won, no trophy received, and no amount of money earned can ever come close to what a woman does when she brings human life into the world. That makes woman like the Creator. That's the greatest achievement any woman could accomplish and by my opinion, grants her the right to immediate retirement. After Elohim made Adam and Chavah, They rested. If I want to take it easy for the rest of my life and pamper myself in celebration of the fact that I brought 6 human, living, breathing, beings into this world, then so be it. Of course, I get up out of duty to grow that human life even more, but not to make a statement that birthing isn't enough already.
