"Fancy" places often sell everything a la carte, so the plate being empty besides the item purchased also isn't weird.

A lot of the time they don’t marinate it either. Even in something really basic like a mix of lemon juice and olive oil. Often they say they’re trying to “Show the quality of the meat without any interruptions” but really it’s them cutting costs. For me meat is always best being seasoned, but hey some people do prefer it just rare I guess.

Agreed. I think we're getting hung up over the technicalities. Its the same idea with his Gucci (or whatever big brand) bag he spent a bunch of money on. Its not the Steak or the bag that matters, its Ralphs attitude of showing off how much money he's making (which isn't much) and how much of a big boy he is, Knocking women up, spending money recklessly, going to Vegas every other week, its very trashy and needs to be stated.
