That "he wasn't touching you" is the basest example of insulting the jury's intelligence. If you're walking down the street as a woman, and someone grabs your purse that's strapped to you, is that not an attack on your person as well?
Exactly, someone posted about a show pretending to be on trial just so they can get a camera into a jury room, the thing that happened the most was jurors compared themselves to the accused or witnesses and use their own experiences.

You know for a fact that these 12 women was thinking along the lines of what if I was Kyle, that is why I think the threat of a mob could backfire because the representatives of the state are saying you can't do shit until someone touches your body now? If the 12 women hang Kyle they hang themselves along with him, this isn't the Floyd case, this is literally your right to defend yourself on trial by the state.

Of course said user is shitting up threads again.
Why oh fucking why does this shit get a pass here?
Because people keep taking the bait.

Anyway, on topic, I think the defense have done pretty well. In a sane world, the jury would acquit of all charges, but we're not living in a sane world.

That brings up an interesting question.

Would Kyle have been better off going for a Bench Trial? The Judge clearly wasn't having any of this bullshit.
Hard to tell. Would the Pros have done the same shit or changed tactics since they'd have to convince one learned person over 12 regular people.

Mr Hernandez look like a taller Ben Shapiro
his demeanor on the other hand is a lot more watered down.
i think it was a good tactic bringing the focus on the rioting and the carnage.
as a normal person, that would be your main focus, especially if you're on the jury.
you were in a riot, who gives a shit about super pedantic details.
there was some risk in that he sounded biased, but at the same time, Binger got into another spat with the judge, probably undoing the damage.

You hit the nail on the head as far as my observations went. If we take a step back and assess the events that took place from start to finish, it is clear cut self defence.

Binger attempted to bait a narritive that says Rittenhouse shot to protect property while the video evidence clearly showing him shooting to protect his life. He did this, because he knows that with the cold hard facts we know, he doesn't have a case. Hear me out:

The core of Binger's strategy is literally and intentionally bullshitting the jury. The tactic we saw when he was crossing Rittenhouse is what I call shotgunning. Spitting out logical fallacy after fallacy, believing at least a few will slip past the jury. For example, when he was questioning Rittenhouse about when he raised his rifle to try deter Rosenbaum from continuing chasing him, he went that with "but don't you think he feared for his life when you raised your rifle" bullshit, thinking he could flip it around as if Rosenbaum acted in self defense.

Every move Binger made was to deliberately bullshit the jury. He has zero interest in finding the truth. He himself knows the truth, but he's pressing on to convict anyway.

This is why Binger is such a lowlife piece of shit. He is knowingly maliciously acting in bad faith and everyone knows knows it.
And shit like this is why everyone thinks our justice system is broken (and they're right). The system doesn't care about the truth, and it hasn't for a very long time. It's all about convictions.
Binger would pretend that it's simply up to the jury to decide if Kyle is guilty, but the reality is that it was up to the State to charge him despite doing an entire investigation that clearly proves he's innocent. It's appalling.

Incorrect, he doesn't talk fast.

Is there a way to bet on what's going to happen next day in court? I'd like to win some money betting that the defense doesn't file a motion to dismiss with prejudice, they don't file a motion for directed verdict(or w/e Wisconsins version of it is) Richard's doesn't recognize his cocouncil is better at speaking so does the closing argument himself, and Binger being a good bullshitter does the closing and blows Richard's closing statement out of the water.

Binger is definitely going to try and go over his allotted time.

I had the same thought. I carry the opinion that a bench trial is a good move for anything that may be in directed verdict territory (or whatever the name for it in WI is).

im just wondering if the mistrial with prejudice goes thorugh
no doubt, the defense is gonna at least attempt to file the motion, considering Binger fucked around yet again.

Knowing what he knows now? Maybe. Pretty safe bet with how strong his case is to have a trial by jury.

We're all watching this like those 12 jurors are. Very hard to see how he doesn't walk. The prosecution asking for lesser charges is evidence of that

it's very clear they're going to build a new brazen bull for him

Personally I saw what some people mentioned of a bastard child between Joe Rogan and Cenk Yogurt of TYT.

I mean look at him.

Absolutely.

That reminds me. Was the Directed Verdict / Mistrial w/ Prejudice already shot down? I thought they were waiting till both sides were finished to consider it.
The defense never made the motion, they announced their intent to do it. That may be what goes down today with all the housekeeping they do while the jury is off for the day.

Also, I wonder if Binger is as insufferable when cameras aren't around. Sounds exhausting to be that much of a douchecanoe all the time.
