ANTIFA is not exceptional enough to do this, at least the organizers. They hate a body count as it can be used to smear them and it would force them to rebrand.

These of the types of people that will keep poking you until you punch them then they cry to the teacher.
Not entirely true. ANTIFA has been shown to be more than willing to attack people when they have a numbers advantage and their identities are concealed. They're aware the media will cover for them and the chances of getting caught is very low.
Michael Reinoehl outright murdered a Trump supporter.

They don't care about a body count because they always claim "antifa isn't an organization, so we are absolved of all wrong-doing!"

Trial's starting with some kind of confusion over papers, and the judge made a joke of "And actually I wish less people had my email right now..." Guessing he's hinting at the fact that he's getting some cool death threats, or other annoyances in his mailbox.
He's also got a fax number, if anyone wants to send him image analysis/dick pics

Look who's talking about pedophiles. You all need to have your computers seized. This hullabaloo and white knighting over a fucking teenager is creepy.

I am reading it. You all are so buttmad that I have the audacity to disagree with you and criticize the kid that you people are thirsting over.

Conservatives are turning this kid into a saint and it's fucking creepy.

Don't take your insecurities out on me, incel. Not my fault you've never touched a boob.

My parents never wanted their daughter to be a boy scout. And they would have kicked my ass if I had crossed state lines with an AR 15 to play vigilante.
Tell me you haven't watched the trial without telling me...

1. Rittenhouse literally is the Young American Kid image. Kids like him fill schools up, thus many people know a kid who acted like Kyle used to. Character arguments about the people you are debating with is an old liberal trick, and conservatives are tired of listening to the left use them. Stop it.

2. You're reading the thread to what? Troll? Shitposts have been getting cleaned up in this thread for the most part, so most of the shitty posts that remain are... lefty takes that have just enough words in them to not be considered bait. If people really are simping for Rittenhouse in that way, report, block and move on. Obvious bait is obvious.

3. George Floyd getting sainthood by the left wasn't creepy and unnatural at all? Give me a break.

4. Noone here with more than one brain cell gives a fuck if you have a vagina or not here. Shitposting trolls will.

5. Well, this is what equality looks like. Open your own doors, argue your own fights, etc. Maybe your parents should have taken you to the range and taught you how to shoot a big scary AR-15.

Anyways, AR-15 has an average of about 5 pounds of recoil when firing an average load/bullet of Rem 5.56mm, spread through the entire length and weight of the rifle, allowing for easy control of the recoil and thus the barrel.

Gaige Grossquirts' Glock 40, if I'm not mistaken, is chambered in 10mm Auto, which has nearly 10 pounds of recoil, which gets directed through the 8" or so of the pistol into the shooters hands. 10mm is notorious for kicking like a magnum.

Interestingly enough, Glock doesn't seem market the 40 in 10mm as a every day defence or concealed carry appropreate weapon. Too big of a round for control, follow up shots and too big of a frame for concealed carry with a proper holster. A lot of more experienced shooters would point you towards more common calibers/guns like a 9mm, .357 Mag or .40 S&W.

It's just... to see a Glock 40 with a relatively rare caliber is kind of thought provoking. Either he got it specifically to stand out at one point, or was he given it? The alphabets are the ones who use 10mm...,

Anyways, to keep this on topic to the thread, a 5.56mm rifle with a sling is 100% more appropriate as a self defence weapon than the two pistols that Kyle saw that night. If anything, after watching the trial to this point, I think that if the jury went into deliberations today, the gun charge may go through, but it's pretty clear the state has failed to prove it was not self defence.

Is Ziminsky the big hobo looking dude with Pedobaum? Why isn't he in jail/subpeona'd? Dude gives me the willies when i see him in the videos, must have been terrorfying that night.

Jurors aren't "allowed" to consider all manner of things but being stupid humans, they frequently do. Like in the Casey Anthony trial (I'm operating from memory here), after the acquittal one of them said in an interview, "They didn't show us a motive." Motive should never have been a matter for them to consider in a murder trial. It's not required in the standard of proof at all. It's something people learned from cop and lawyer shows on TV. You can tell jurors they're not "allowed" to consider things right and left, you can tell them to disregard things they heard that turned out not to be admissible, but they're going to do their own thing once they're in that room.
I don't like Last Podcast on the Left anymore but there's a quote from one of their episodes (coincidentally the one about Casey Anthony, I think) that has always stuck with me. I don't remember it verbatim, but when they were talking about jury selection they discussed how they try to get people who've never heard of this case or who know very little about it. Because this gets harder and harder to achieve in the Internet Age, you would basically need people who live under a rock. By virtue of living under a rock, you get twelve people who "don't know anything about anything" (the paraphrased quote) that then go on to acquit because "yeah I know she lied and lied and lied and didn't report her daughter missing for a month and partied the entire time but where's the motive?"

I haven't watched any of the footage from the trial, but I stand by my mistrial vote. I suspect that the incompetence of the prosecution, the defence, the inherent strength of Kyle's self-defense claim and the possible intimidation of the jury will result in precisely the sort of circumstances that lead to a mistrial.

That said, from what I've read about this trial so far, I'm getting some serious Zimmerman vibes. So I wouldn't be surprised if Kyle walked.

Prosecutor Matt Foley is quibbling about Kyle's testimony to try and get the reckless homicide charge included. Judge says, "I wish I knew the exact answers that were given." Why the hell can't they just review the court reporter's record of what was said in the testimony?
