Yeah I'd agree with this, I think that Holostars was probably better off forging their own path (even if it's a bit of an uphill climb sometimes). Tbh compared to other corpos, they aren't doing that badly - and with monsters like Kuzuha and Kanae out there, at least you know that they still have plenty of room to grow.

(Kind of related- Rikka and Roberu have an event with Yuuki Ono coming up, which will hopefully give them a bit more exposure)

I wonder how much bromance JP dude must be in order to get audience like western male face cam streamers had.

Something just missing from Holostars that they not even take off even though their personality is pretty interesting but they are not on Sugibro or Mafia Kaji type.

Even on anime scene, the audience more interested in female over male and male need to be super stand out in order to get their fair share of success like Tsugux2, Nobu, Suzuken, Mamoru etc.

I'd say it started to get good with the 00. Exia is shit, 00 raiser was really good and got alot of stuff and 00 qant was pretty bland compared to raiser in terms of whats inside but its still really good and solid build(my favorite design wise).

Someone is coaching Calli in the ways of the neckbeards but the person is apparently from japan, he has been recommending her Legend of the river king and Tengai Makyo Zero, a very obscure RPG that is not on the Wii U shop, got fantranslated a while ago

Edit: no, i dont believe is someone from trash taste something like that is to deep for those casuals

I don't like Joey for a myriad of reasons, last thing I want is some anitube sperg influencing Hololive. Though considering this Trash Taste went well I think that ship has sailed. I do however think it may be a mistake for Cover to let their talent become too associated with the anitube or western Vtuber scene, as it is quite different from the corporate Japanese scene, even when comparing Hololive EN to Indie EN VTubers.
