Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

seriously the fuck are you assholes on about
McDuck is a massive Scottish stereotype of being a miserly fuck
Scotland. Land of the Scots. Named after the Scoti people who invaded the northern most reaches of the British Isles and culturally enriched the native Picts.
Where did the Scoti come from?

Thats right.
Scot, any member of an ancient Gaelic-speaking people of Ireland or Scotland in the early Middle Ages. Originally (until the 10th century) “Scotia” denoted Ireland, and the inhabitants of Scotia were Scotti.

It's all connected.

Scrooge is Scottish!
In my experience, you can (usually) tell them apart by what comes before the apostrophe in their last name.
McIntyre, McDonald, McCready, McFuckface, etc. are Scots. Meanwhile O'Reilly, O'Brien, O'Connel, O'Shaughnessy, O'Sullivan, etc. are Irish.

Neolibs celebrate without thinking into the future to see how this precedent can hurt them #24
They won’t feel any consequences because the GOP is without balls. They do nothing but let it happen again and again.
I knew a guy In neighborhood that was seen as the crazy wacko that told everyone the government lies and the media lies all the time.

If i would see him today if he still lives I’d tell him I am sorry for being so blind.

Give me the tinfoil, but GOPe is under a McConspiracy.
And we're all being poisoned by Mcdonalds

Was John Mcaffee an inside hit order by John Mcain?

That's just a dogwhistle. A nod to the other Irish McSomethings in high positions. "Ha ha, look at those poor plebs, they think he's Scottish when it's us Irish who have a literal vault of gold and another vault of potatoes."

Or are the Scottish behind this? We needs the opinion of a Welshman.

The scots and Irish are Celtic. The Celts held off the invading Romans, to which the Romans replied by walling them up (Hadrians wall) in the UK.

Celtic symbolism is seen in free mason imagery.

Has KF just cracked the biggest secret in the world? Is the Illuminati just a bunch of pissed-up Highlanders?

NEW YORK (AP) — Fox News Channel edited video of President Joe Biden on Friday to remove context from remarks that some could judge as racially insensitive.

In Veterans Day comments made Thursday, Biden told an anecdote that referenced baseball player Satchel Paige, who had pitched in the Negro Leagues before Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier in Major League Baseball.

On “Fox & Friends,” Rachel Campos Duffy said Biden was “facing backlash” for comments at Arlington National Cemetery.

In his comments, Biden said he had “adopted the attitude of the great Negro, at the time pitcher in the Negro Leagues, went on to become a great pitcher in the pros in Major League baseball after Jackie Robinson, his name was Satchel Paige.”

But when Duffy played the clip, it was edited so Biden was heard saying he had “adopted the attitude of the great Negro at the time, pitcher, name was Satchel Paige.”

Duffy said Biden’s remarks were “landing him in hot water.” While “Negro” was once a common way to refer to Black people and still appears in organization names, the terms “Black” and “African American” are more widely used today.

When editing video, journalists have an obligation to keep statements in the context they were delivered or explain to viewers why a change was made, said Al Tompkins, faculty member at Poynter Institute, a journalism think tank. In this case, the edit is not at all clear, he said.

A Fox spokesperson noted that the full remark was used when the story was repeated two other times on “Fox & Friends,” and said the one-time edit was made because of time constraints.

Irish: reduced Anglicized form of Gaelic Ó Dubhthaigh 'descendant of Dubhthach', a byname derived from dubh 'black' (see Duff). Scottish and Irish: reduced Anglicized form of Gaelic Mac Dhuibhshíthe 'son of Duibhshíth', a personal name composed of the elements dubh 'black' (see Duff) + síth 'peace'. ...

Think we're on to something about the Micks?

Every.
Fucking.

Fun fact, the Scottish originated from Irish conquerers of the ancient Picts.

The scots -descend- from the Irish.
Not really. The Scots deacend from a combination of Picts, the Gaelic kingdom of Dal Riata, the Britons of Strathclyde, and the Saxons of Lothian. The first house of McAlpin formed from the union of Dal Riatan royalty with those of the Picts

Okay, how many more little girls has Joe sniffed this week?
He's been in hiding after saying that thing about the negro baseball player so probably a bunch.
Ukraine is the prime example why you never give up your arms. It was the 3rd largest nuclear power after the soviets folded and look at them now.
Ukraine never really had the opprotunity to establish a nuclear deterrent in the first place, both because of technological limitations and because of the overwhelming superiority in negotiations the US, much less the US and its allies, had over any individual post-Soviet state.

As a TL;DR, Ukraine in 1991 had access to two categories of weaponry: ICBMs and bomber-launched nuclear cruise missiles the Soviets left behind. The ICBMs had a minimum range of 5,000 kilometers (and were pointing at the US) and thus could only have been used by Ukraine on Russia's Far East, and the Russians had disabled all the cruise missiles on the way out. For the ICBMs, it would have taken Ukraine an estimated 12 to 18 months to get full operational control over their nuclear arsenal, in which time Russia could have invaded. And for the cruise missiles, the Ukrainians hypothetically could have made them work again... but it was also 1990s Ukraine. It's possible they would've just been completely unable to do it. So their actual deterrant power was really limited.

The more pressing issue was the US. In short, the US was absolutely committed to full denuclearization of every post-Soviet country other than Russia, and only because we knew Russia wouldn't budge. We gave our terms to Ukraine: get rid of the nukes, and you'll receive financial compensation, plus Russia, the UK and the US agreed to recognize Ukraine. If they refused, economic sanctions and withdrawal of diplomatic recognition was on the table. So Ukraine made what was at the time a sensible decision and got rid of the nukes.
