I currently have a summon to serve on a federal jury so that'd be an interesting experience for me. Never been called for jury duty. My company will pay me my salary + the $50 a day that the federal government will give me for my time.
If you want to get out of it, just say you believe in jury nullification on all federal crimes.
Not only will they dismiss you but also any potential juror who might have heard you say jury nullification.

On the other hand if you want to get picked, you can just vote not guilty if you believe the law is bullshit just to fuck with the feds.

edit: I didn't add travel expensive for expert witnesses, which can also be expensive; airfare, carfare, hotel and meals which again, would not be free.

And when you figure in hookers and blow, pretty soon you're talking real money!

I don't have a screenshot handy, but the same people passing around that shit have also compared him to Charles Manson in a similar way. Apparently they're really offended at the article not demonizing Kyle from the start or making false claims that he arrived hoping to kill people.
That's another thing. The only ones still convinced that Kyle is guilty are dyed-in-the-wool leftist moonbats who either a) haven't even bothered to take 5 minutes to watch the footage, or b) are being intellectually dishonest. Even a major Democrat donor changed his mind.

I wonder if Barnes' aggressive stance made the Defense worry he'd turn off the jury.
You could have Barnes on the team and use him for Objections, and jury selection or polling. Have Agent 47 be your front facing guy, and Richards as your down home Wisconson native. You had a lot of options.

Should he have been there? No one should have been there but they were. Should Kyle have been moving between locations alone? No, he was a dumbass for doing that. He should have stayed at the Ultimate Gas Station since he was surrounded by rioters since there's strength in numbers. It's just too bad Balch wasn't with him the entire time.

Very much this. In many ways Rittenhouse showed a lot of laudable traits in being willing to go out and help his community. He was also a dumbass with delusions of granduer, but he was a 17 year old kid. Fact is, if the cops had done their fucking jobs, and actually arrested the violent rioters the night before, and not stood down like fucking cowards then he would not have felt a need to. They needed to flat out STATE that Blake was armed day 1, show the evidence, and say that anyone who tries a goddamned thing outside of an actual peaceful fucking protest WILL be prosecuted, and not just caught and released.

I wish this was true. But normies just take in what they are told every day on the news. They take in headlines via osmosis, and you see enough "Experts say that Kyle Rittenhouse's White Supremacy spealks ill for minorities in Wisconson" or whatever other bullshit headlines, and you just assume he is guilty. 70% of Kenosha thinks he did SOMETHING wrong before this trial. You have to actively convince them to change their mind.

My boy was a Boy Scout kind of kid, like Kyle and I feel a lot of sympathy for him and his mom, because that could have been my kid who almost got killed trying to do the right thing. But I'd still be proud of him. I imagine there's a mother or two that might feel the same way on that jury, I just hope they vote to acquit and hold their ground if there's an authoritarian cocksucker demanding they return a guilty verdict.

And what has the jury been seeing for the jury been seeing for the last two weeks? The state flailing and grabbing at straws as every witness dismembers their case.

Really?

Years of polarization and characterizing people you politically oppose as others less worthy of the base level of respect has led to a troubling epidemic of apathy and downright sociopathy.
To be fair, commies are property of the state and are not worthy of any level of respect.

No wonder there were riots. Lol @ police fitness standards
There's that but also the fact that they aren't allowed to intervene when they aren't cowards. After seeing the pathetic motherfuckers that pepper sprayed Kyle when he was trying to surrender to them testify, I lost whatever respect I had left for police.

Really?

Where does that figure come from?

Barnes, not sure if he did the polls himself or got them from somewhere. Basically he states that in the city itself there is a LOT of headlines and the like along with a campaign by Binger to poison the well of the Jury in the months leading up to the case.
