Pc port with mods. I would recommend for sure getting silent patch for all 3 games, then after that mod the game however you want, or just leave it alone. Silent patch is a requirement though as it fixes a ton of the issues created by rockstar back when they ported the games in the early 2000s, and stuff caused by running 20 year old games on modern PCs.
It lives rent free in modern western developers heads, almost everything they do is to distance themselves from the perceived "Gamer Gate" type of gamers, like the Saints Row reboot.
That's one of the bitter ironies is when these companies make shitloads of money from something easy like that, it doesn't free them up to make riskier, more innovative games, it makes them become lazy and creatively bankrupt.
This is speculation, but I think his game analysis videos are more about gameplay and features, not lore.

He lets the videos do the talking. I would hope he will make a video on this trilogy release. There's plenty of footage out there explaining the many issues this release has. And it's only been a couple days.
God, someone at that company must seriously hate these games. Thats the only way to explain how you fuck up ports of 20 year old games so bad that it makes silent hill 2 HD look good.
Apparently, they used a computer algorithm to upscale certain textures. That software is mistaking some letters for others. Yeah, this was half assed.
