OoOoOo a new scam!
Weird that Labelle didn't need 15k in donations to put out the last few books and there's the patreon(s, 3 I think) specifically for publishing this and Labelle's, uh. "comics". I wonder what the 15k will actually go to. Probably more vacations but I'm hoping we see a big purchase that just happens to have a 15k price tag in the future.
This does explain why Labelle was trying to get the AM audience riled up about cis people writing trans books. I thought it was an ego thing but this scam makes a lot more sense. The ego boost would also be pretty good too though, imagine outselling a vastly superior product with way more effort put into it because you convinced your drone-like audience that your competitors are not only bad, but actively harmful.
I won't lie, it's a good scam with a much more interesting twist than just not providing a product (Remember Labelle's first "novels" or even that muscial?) or coming clean about what the money was really for (surgery grift). Profiting off hate you manufactured yourself is a great Alex Jones move. I do wonder if even Labelle is sometimes surprised that people keep falling for the same lies over and over again.

Warning: High level sperg ranting ahead 
After seeing the Kickstarter I just wanted to make a snarky asshole comment. If this fictional Transgirl wants to play Hockey what happens when he is put on Hormone Blockers and is left physically stunted? But because I'm autistic I needed to google proof of Guillaume endorsing puberty blockers. I wind up on Facebook and see this.
I'm in shock for a moment. This comic is addressing a real issue that children who suffer with Gender Dysphoria have to contemplate. And the writer is actually communicating a reasonable message that a "transchild" shouldn't have to jump the gun on something that will permanently change their body and leave them different from the majority of society.
Then I realize I can't read the whole comic because Facebook has a nag screen asking me to log in. So I open the comic in another tab and get the conclusion.
How someone can get so insanely close to the truth (children should not be able to consent to cosmetic surgery) and then fall into stupidity. May the first Doctor(s) who declare Puberty Blockers to be criminal be declared heroes of humanity.

That's just...weird.
I guess we can be grateful that the "Terfy Kid" gets kicked off the team instead of becoming the perfect trans protags brainwashed love interest like Stephie's boyfriend.
