Years ago Negative Legend made a video where he made the world's most pathetic cry/rant hybrid, something that amounted to "wahh, I'm not rich enough" like a gayer version of DSP pitybaiting for more munis for his low effort niche videos. Mind you this guy had a fairly small audience at the time, how he thought this entitled him to stardom I don't understand.
He then turned into a fucking Bakugan YouTube channel or something like that, because it was the one thing that did better than the rest of his videos except that only happened because he was cashing in on nostalgia, which he mistook for finding an audience.

I missed that one. But then I watch less of his videos anyway. He's gone over most of the video games that I knew and I think he's running out of interesting kickstarter horror stories too. Soon it won't be one of his videos that chases me off, but general boredom.
Although yeah, if I'd seen that, I'd be gone sooner.
I don't have the time or the desperation for human contact to sit through 3-4 hour streams by the rest of the comicsgate/fandom menace grifters. Mauler takes the piss with that half-a-planetary-rotation shit. How does he fill the time anyway!?

I don't think so. From what I recall he was always a very gay-looking guy with a terrible haircut, unless Negative Legend was FtM before he (she???) started the channel I never caught on to any tranny shenanigans.

I used to watch Grav3yardgirl a fair amount. I wasn't invested in her as a person but her videos amused me.
THEN came the Starbucks drama, about 3 years ago now.
From what I recall she had been going through SB drivethrough and getting drinks, then going back through multiple times a day getting free refills. Eventually an employee told her to stop that, as free refills were supposed to be for dining area only.
Millionaire youtuber threw a gigantic Karen fit, complete with calls to corporate and making vlogs about it. Pretty sure the best videos were deleted, and golly did Bunny go after any channels discussing what happened. Threats were made by youtube if clips from grav3yardgirl's videos were used, and the "Swamp Fam" was sent like a swarm of bitchy locusts to attack anyone talking about it. At least that's what happened at first, I searched for 'grav3yardgirl starbucks' and there are several videos talking about it.
Here's one with a clip of what I'm talking about. I wish my computer wasn't a potato so I could archive all this shit, but hopefully other people did it already, because it was such a surprising reaction from a usually nice acting person.
I can't watch any of Bunny's stuff anymore, not product review videos, not her Banana Peppers vlog channel, nothing. It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth now.

i still watch john but he can come off as very preachy and " i have the moral high ground" kind of attitude at times. him ending his videos with encouraging people to get the vacc is very cringe.

Music reactors, though I’m not too ashamed of watching them since there are some good ones still out there.
In the case of reacting to rap music, so called music critics like Shawn Cee, BigQuint and Meami for example seem harmless after first review, but after the 2016 election and last year’s riots in 2020, they all started to try to join the bandwagon and tried to show how much they love rap music that wants to engage with the “woke” side of how it should be.
Granted they’re not full blown social justice warrior-tier cringeworthy, but some of their videos (even Meami recently defending Travis Scott for his disasterous Astroworld Fest as if he did nothing wrong) make me really question if they like the music or the image of what the music represents:

I used to watch Anthony Fantano back in his Thatistheplan days. Those videos were pretty entertaining even if he was a dollar store FilthyFrank, and just like Joji's channel, the humour is incredibly dated. Stopped watching when he decided to scrub that channel and vehemently regret him ever doing it, then do a 180 and become a SJW. Just goes to show Fantano will jump onto any trend that is popular instead of just focusing on reviewing music.

Pigpen , he makes iceberg videos and his batman one was kinda interesting , but in the comments he sperged about people misgendering chris chan , which was dumb but didnt put me off , but then he started his star wars iceberg video saying how people who are a part of the “fandom meance” need to go away and how his channel was no place for hate and discrimination.

I stopped following Styx after this one video which i forget the name of, had to do with football
Dont even remember what it was about but he sorta derails into a rant about how people that enjoy sports are this and that and you could tell the outcast boy bullied by Chad and Stacy back in high school was popping up again, lashing out against the normies
That and the whole "im saving the world via youtube give me your money" shit had been putting me off for a while now, but that vid was it, dude used to be a chill weirdo at some point

I think it was Gehenna that said that Styx has been slipping as a political analyst for a while now. Styx's opinion on weed is the lolbertarian take where legalizing it somehow defunds the Cartels. The evidence is in and legalizing weed does not defund the Cartels. His opinion on abortion is similarly dated as the practice of abortion is anything BUT rare, but a celebrated practice.
