I don't know anything about TTRPGs. Would a drop-out make more work than a drop-in? Can't help thinking about the clip someone posted of Fauna talking about DnD.

Good to see she won't take any shit, there are plenty of retards in any audiences but with superchats and other ways of them getting more attention, things get difficult to deal with. Showing she isn't one to be pushed around is good deterrence for those fuckers!

Amelia did something similar, some retard came in to talk down to her, basically treating her like a subordinate, making demands of her. She told him to watch his fucking tone when talking to her and it worked!

Nah, emulation is OK if it's using official emulators, like the SNES/NES/Genesis Mini consoles, or the compilations released for later titles, like Mario Allstars, or Sonic Genesis collection for PS3. With that said, playing on original hardware has gotten much easier nowadays if you own a retrotink. Honestly the hardest part ATM is upgrading from composite, since RGB and component cables are all back ordered to hell. I'm currently on a waiting list just for my ps1 RGB cable, and I waited 4 months just to get my ps2 component cable. Plus if you decide to just go with the cheap stuff you find on ebay, it will 100% of the time be shitty. For casual variety streamers like vtubers, mini consoles are definitely the way to go.

This. If a group consists of newbie players who have no idea how the game works and a GM who knows the system, makes the story AND babysits them throughout entire sessions because they keep forgetting basic mechanics over and over again, then she's the only one who puts an actual effort there.

That's the experience of 75% of TTRPG groups though. One, MAYBE two players are actually interested and read up to understand mechanics and commit to the game fully while the rest are some combination of didn't read the book, looking at phone when it's not their turn for an action, and treating it as a hangout instead of an actual TTRPG session. Really is no different than what we have with this group, and even doubly so because this is still a job for them.
