I could be wrong but I feel it's a mistake for defense to keep focusing on the riots in the framing of destruction of property, fires, etc.
Rational people would put 2+2 and say "well, that type of situation has a higher than average chance of turning violent, which would lead someone to believe they needed to be able to defend themselves."

But a lot of people these days don't believe lethal force in defense of property is legal, it is even in fact specifically illegal in many states. It's already been a point of contention in this trial.
So why isn't defense doing more in closing arguments, where they have more leash and more freedom to speak, to spell that out for the jury? "Mr. Rittenhouse was in a scenario which was quickly devolving and was in a national backdrop of many other riots which had descended into violence and even murder. Young children and senior citizen bystanders were injured or killed in several other riots. This wasn't just a threat to property, there was a real danger that it could become violent at any moment, and agitants such as Rosenbaum were fomenting that violence"

Like "Vergessen" (Forgotten) turned to "Ferguson".
Rosenbaum means "tree of roses". Pink Tree would be "Rosabaum".

The author of the script was probably not a native German speaker, since the whole show has been in English, and sacrificed strict vocabulary for more natural sounding names.
