The fact that the prosecution said the quiet part out loud makes me a bit more hopeful.

My wife and I were watching Fatlock today. She has not really been following the trial too closely. When he said "everyone should take a beating" she said "WHAT DID HE JUST SAY?!" I think that's a good "normie barometer" of how much they fucked up today.

Gun sales will continue to remain at all time highs and more states will continue to make their open carry laws less and less restrictive, while the left remains distracted with cultural warfare and forgets gun ownership is even a topic they're supposed to fight against.

I more or less agree. Gun sales will remain steadily high, but not quite at 2020 levels of stock depletion. And that won't change without a whole new mass round of rioting.

Don't think I'm selling my gun company stocks anytime soon though.

In his close, he mentioned provocation and Kyle's very visible rifle near enough to each other in time (without actually Going There) that it was obvious to me that his belief was that anyone open-carrying that night was deliberately provoking those on the other side.

His theory of firearms law is as shitty as his theory of self-defense law, and the reason both are shit is because it springs from ideology. I loved Richards calling it a political trial to get his dander up only to step back and pimp-slap him with "because they thought it would stop the riots after effectively doing nothing for two nights."

Not really, he's got a very serious uphill battle. Much like chauvin, there's serious state and civil pressure on the jurors to find him guilty. The fact that he's even in this position in the first place warrants a restructuring how you think about the current situation in the US.
