In May 2015 Gaige Grosskreutz ran a red light right as a police officer was advancing to go through his green light - nice one! It get's much better.

The cop was able to catch up to him and pull him over. This is what was revealed during, and after, that traffic stop:
1. Gaige had no car insurance
2. Gaige was driving under the influence, he blew .16
3. Gaige had a warrant out for his arrest in another county
4. Gaige had a Glock 9mm on his person (with a bullet in the chamber)
5. Gaige did not have a permit for the Glock, let alone an open carry
6. Gaige was already a felony offender with a disqualification for firearms

For those only reading the thread (Like I was) and not watching the trial. Jacob Marshall, former roommate of Gaige Grosskreutz is being questioned on his facebook post about Gaige regretting not killing Kyle.

Prosecution objected to the Defense starting with a leading question, which was overruled by the judge. Jacob claims his entire post is a lie, and that Gaige never said those words.

what i mean is that there is nothing entertaining or funny about him. the only interest in him is purely because of his involvement in political controversy, nothing else.

Him trying to sue the city for ten million dollars because the police (who he probably wants defunded) did not provide enough security resulting in a situation where he pulled an illegally-carried pistol on a teenager who then shot him in self-defense is pretty funny.

Also, wasn't he busted for yet another DUI right before the trial but the state declined to prosecute? It might be that he's being protected by powerful people for some reason.

I get the impression that Kyle doesn't like being the latest very public pawn in the culture war and would give anything to go back to how life was before that night. On the other hand, I get the impression that Grosskreutz very much enjoys the limelight even as more of the country realizes what a scumbag he was and is.
