I feel bad for the troons in fact quite a good portion of them. For a lot of them they could have been saved. I mean for a good chunk of them it's just a reaffirmation of confirmation bias. The sad reality is they were just groomed via targeted pornography. This had convinced them that they were transgender when in reality they're suffering from post nut depression. Imagine if some of them snapped out and realized it was just a phase before they did hrt and cut their dicks off.

I do make a distinction between people who genuinely do suffer from officially diagnosed gender dysphoria and troons. The former are even rarer still.

However, in either case, I do not see what both hope to accomplish by getting surgery or taking hormones. Cross-dressing is one thing but they cannot change such an innate biological characteristic as sex, and the surgical and pharmacological lengths some people go to in trying are both dangerous and futile.

Whatever happened to the part of psychotherapy that helps people with self-esteem or identity issues come to terms with themselves as they are rather than irreversibly butchering healthy gentials with crude surgery?
