I would say a "hung jury" is just as good as a full acquittal. All it takes is on juror either way to achieve a hung jury then Kyle can go free and he cant be put on trial again.

The question will be the lesser charges, though I though that if they find him not guilty on the highest charge that then throws out everything else. We will have to see.

Nope, a mistrial due to a hung jury usually results in a second trial unless the prosecution decides it's not worth it.

I can grant one exception. My ex-wife was going to take my last name entirely, but decided to hyphenate it after her dad died (Agent Orange finally got him RIP).

Even though they were always at odds, she said she wanted to keep his name alive because she was an only child. I didn't care either way before; but after he passed, it was something I took as genuine (a unique occurrence for her).
