This news doesn't come "exactly one day" after Negz had another meltdown; Belinda's been talking about this on her livestreams for months and released a video a couple of weeks ago announcing that she was no longer going to do this sort of content. She's also explained repeatedly for months that she's not been uploading HN content because the sheer regardation of the subjects was stultifying and that she wanted to take her channel in a new direction.

Does being in a permanent food coma distort fatties' perception of time or something? Because sure as Hell they were frantically glued to the same livestreams we all saw when she repeatedly indicated she was leaving.

I don't think Negz really believed he lost his channel for good, he thought he would find a loophole and he just hasn't been able to. Now he's just super bitter about the whole situation because he's permanently lost the easy income. Amber is striking channels now-I wish she would have the balls to go after Callie or Chuck next time they do a video on her. But she'll go the cowardly route like Death by Jen did and strike channels that aren't connected to the main haydurverse.

No matter how Negz tries to distance himself from it and pretend the channel was all Gaining Ground's, Negz himself claimed to "own" (his word) the Discounted Lyfe channel on his Negz Shorts channel just before it was terminated. The Discounted Lyfe twitter account went through periods of severe 'tism (already recorded in this thread) where it was relentlessly @ing YouTube about the race bias against white creators which is clearly a Negz bugaboo, and not a liberal Gaining Ground bugaboo. If GG "offered" the accounts to Negz, as Negz claims, he clearly took the opportunity to make use of them at least occasionally.

But GG's bêtes noires have also been a focus of the channel. I've noticed the Discounted Lyfe accounts have occasionally used sassy turns of phrase that are idiomatically GG's (especially in community tab posts; the Twitter account does a better job of masking it, I think). Negz' recent Rumble sperg makes it clear to me that he's describing GG: all of GG's long-established enmities are focused on by the channel; the Haydurs live "rent-free" in Discounted Lyfe's head; Discounted Lyfe is "continuing" a long vendetta; Discounted Lyfe has been "too busy" and his life has been too "crazy and hectic" to give Negz a handout (this has been GG's constant refrain in livestreams, especially with the house renovations).

Frankly, I don't think Negz was even trying to hide the insinuation that Discounted Lyfe is GG, although he's sure as Hell playing down his own role in the account now that it's convenient. The Antis aren't exactly a large group to put it mildly. There are only so many people this can describe. Negz knows that. He said enough to make it was clear that it's GG, without explicitly saying his name so that he has plausible deniability on a charge of "doxing."*

And, personally, I don't fucking care. I'm pretty sure most of us knew that Gaining Ground wasn't really off of Twitter or as disengaged from Haydur Nation as he pretended to be. The fact that he was able to keep his cool on his own channel and occasionally be funny while sperging (but also sometimes being funny) on a sock account was miracle enough. Also, the Haydurs have literal scores of sock accounts — Christ, at this point they probably have scores of sock accounts each — so why should anyone fucking care if an Anti does?

Frankly, most of the time I don't care who is behind what sock account unless it directly speaks to some specific point of hypocrisy. Otherwise, it doesn't really matter if FFG is the one saying odious shit behind sock accounts just like it doesn't really matter what Bubble Brain's name or race is. They're vile trash, no matter what account they post under and vile trash will out.

I always thought that Cliff, Ron, and Belinda were running the account. I don't know what Negz has to gain by burning his bridge with Cliff. Well, I guess he's burned every other bridge at this point so why stop now.

I agree with you. That's part of what annoyed me so much about DC today and her trying to gloat about Negz's rant and her saying that Discounted Lyfe was Cliff. DC, everyone you associate with has multiple twitter and sock accounts, if Cliff is the one running that account, good for him because he pissed you all off even more then he already had.

I think he's been more driven by mental illness and/or a bad combination of brain pills than by rational cost-benefit analysis for the last several months.

I still think Shaquanna Jefferson nailed it in that video she made to him though the message came too late and was taken in the worst possible way. Peanut took the opportunity to tear down Shaquanna under the guise of supporting Negz, but I think Shaquanna was coming from an earnest place of kind, well-meant advice and she didn't say anything derogatory or denigrating in her video. But some people prefer flatterers who say what they want to hear to friends who say what they need to hear.

Peanut and GG do have the worst habit of encouraging their friends to do inadvisable things. It's one of the things I can't stand about them. But that doesn't mean that anyone was an innocent victim of their machinations. Plenty of coin was happily and voluntarily made by all on the backs of HN content.
