It's usually the same.

The funny story: I met a guy. This was ages ago, mind, -ages-. Who lived with some intensely crazy otherkin dragons. And he would put this very deliberate inflection on 'sie' or 'hir' to make sue you knew what he was saying, probably out of sheer terror that he would get accused of misgendering. I stopped him and said "I can't believe you have to do that. It's kind of impressive."
