Maybe jurors these days should be required to sit through some basic tech literacy lecture...don't they get advice on how to look at evidence correctly or whatever? So painful to hear the excuses about 'accidentally compressing' videos, it's like that thing students do where they intentionally corrupt a file to get an extension on an assignment. At least the woman speaking right now is savvy enough to both know and explain the situation.
I also predict prosecution saying that RENAMING FILES ruins them or something.

Correct me if I am wrong @AnOminous , does the Prosecution not have a responsibility to ensure everything the defense has is accurate to their own stuff?
Yes, they literally do. Material that is exculpatory, that is, that a jury seeing it would tend to be more inclined toward an acquittal, HAS to be turned over to the defense in a timely fashion, not dump-trucked on them at the last moment. This is called Brady material, named after a Supreme Court case that established that failing to do this is grounds for a mistrial, with prejudice.

It is such a basic constitutional right that the prosecution is required to do this even if the defense doesn't request it, for whatever reason.

Deliberately hiding this was incredibly unethical and, imo, literally criminal. Binger should be thrown in prison, although he won't be.
