Fat fuck claims that the file name was changed when downloaded on a computer. This is obviously not true so they have no legitimate explanation for why the high and low quality videos had different filenames if they're the same video just "compressed"

The woman argues that that can't be true, the two files have different names, they were never the same file, the HD was altered on the state's end, and they sent her the compressed version under a different title.

Ok but how did they even realise one video was compressed more than the other and that it's not just a reencoding of the same file?

Seems likely that at some point, some exceptional person sent it as an MMS, which does tend to get downscaled since it's for phone to phone communications and not for FUCKING EVIDENCE. And then they used the exceptional version somehow.
