In fifteen or so years, this trial will adapted into a comedy and be called out as unrealistic.
First guy I'll cast is Wayne Knight as Prosecutor Kraus.
I could totally see "The Death of Stalin" style black comedy adaptation.
The only person in that courtroom who is anywhere near competent is Kyle, which is pretty fucking sad.

That's what I'm wondering, things seem to be going slower than I thought.
Normally these types of trials are over very quickly. But that was back when people didn't fucking riot when people got shot or killed. I knew that when Occupy Wall Street movement came out that it'll lead to the shit show that we have now.

This is the video I refer back to when I tried to tell people that lawlessness won't work.

I understand WHY the judge wants a proper acquittal over a mistrial, but if the jury convicts (unlikely but holy fuck this should be over now), he's going to have to make a goddamn ruling.

This trial is a fucking farce and now the prosecution has withheld proper evidence.
Yeah, the way I see it it’s like this
Acquittal -> Let it go through as normal
Conviction -> Stop it and mistrial

I get ya and while I don't disagree with you generally, I just don't think people get that worked up for real, or at least calm down quick after they go take a shit or get another beer or whatever. I think it runs off after people leave the pc/phone and go do other shit.

I don't think anyone's gonna have an aneurysm if you get my drift.
I'm gonna have an aneurysm in Minecraft pls send help

Teaching women to read and letting them wear shoes and leave the house was a disaster for humanity.
I had a buddy who had an excellent theory on that. Everything was fine until they started letting women wear pants. Once you let someone wear pants, they think they have rights and it's all downhill from there. Ironically this dude is now a massive shitlib.

S'why I have pointedly avoided saying anything that isn't about demographics, with one slipup of saying the number. I try to refer to it as Majority and Holdouts to avoid that.
I think 2 is highly likely. If it was an even split I think they'd be requesting everything. I might be guessing, but I see two possible reasons to get the Lefty video either
1) That's the first point of contention, they agree on everything else
or
2) They're close to getting an agreement on that one with other issues remaining.

The whole narrative of oh some guy showed up at the office in the middle of court and conveniently gave us this video is completely unacceptable in my opinion. This isn't Watergate and having stuff like this turn up when there is a indicated interest in the case by the state media is just suspicious at the very least. Combine that with the two files and this is some banana Republic stuff. Even in kangaroo trials they have all the evidence at the start.

the main conclusion here should be dont go to a riot to keep the police in a purple state. if kyle had defended himself in my hometown he would have never seen the inside of a courtroom.
people must consider political angles in their actions in these areas.
There are still outside prosecutors as I remember watching a video about how in some of the blue states and to some extent in red states, the prosecutors that are not even local to the area, step in to prosecute people.
