has it failed yet? because it sounds to me that he has not made a decision adn will not before the verdict.
I have never been a fan of the idea that the judge will actually rule a mistrial if the verdict comes back guilty. He is setting up for it, but that is purely can kicking. When it comes down to the wire, I highly doubt he'll do it.

Why's the camera pointing at the city seal again? What is the court off doing now?
Defense and pros are agreeing to how videos will be shown. The judge has punted everything substansive.

Mistrial is going to be decided on appeals, definitely. That’s just how the system normally operates.

see i dont know about that. He REALLY REALLY wants the jury to do their job here. thats all his can kicking has been for.

It's supremely simple, the prosecution is responsible for their own evidence. They are supposed to share it and they screwed up and/or maliciously altered it to give themselves better positioning.

The judge absolutely refuses to give the prosecution the L. Yes, he obviously wants the jury to provide legitimacy to things, but it's going out of the way to screw over.

Is the judge waiting for the verdict first? If not guilty, letting it ride, but if guilty then declaring a mistrial? That's the only legit path I see here barring the judge being scared of media scrutiny.

This thread feels like watching the fucking superbowl with my friends. Every movement in the field and everybody jumps and screams like they're having a mental breakdown. Meanwhile I'm here with a beer and the snacks, just watching the plays.
only real difference now is that philly fans are infinitely more dangerous and destructive to a city than political rioters

And the commercials. Don’t forget the commercials.
It's incredible. This kid's life rests solely on the judge's lack of understand of basic computer usage.
That’s what a lot of leftists bank on apparently. And I guess it works.

And if they come back with a Guilty verdict, they did their job. I was somewhat hopeful that such a glaring Brady violation would push him, but he has chosen instead to practically abandon the field entirely.
