He says that there's nothing in the world that turns him on more than "dating" prostitutes. Is it a specific whore he's talking about? Is it because of some thrill that comes with breaking the law, never seeing her again, or the fact that she's otherwise a total stranger? The answer is none of the above. For Steven, receiving artificial attention from a prostitute in exchange for his money is his biggest turn-on because of the attention/validation that it's capable of receiving him from other men online. Hello Everyone, first IANAL (well, not a criminal one in Arkansas) but I do know a few things.

Let me state unequivocally, Stephen 'Boogie2988' Williams Will be found guilty of the crime of Aggravated Assault in the state of Arkansas if this matter goes to trial.

You see, for any criminal matter there are two elements that must be proven beyond a reasonable doubt, the actus reus and the Mens Rea . Taking those in turn, actus reus is: the act - what illegal thing did you do? (e.g. Speeding, stealing something, defrauding someone). The Mens Rea is the 'guilty mind' did you do the thing with a level of intention or recklessness (I'll return to this). For example you fill up your car at a pump, go inside to pay and realise you left your wallet at work and can't pay. Did you commit theft? Well, you took gas you can't pay for so yes? No. You didn't intend to take it without paying as you pumped the gas you fully believed you could pay and it turned out you were innocently wrong. You'll pay eventually but won't have committed a crime.

So for Steven 'Boogie2988' Williams, who may go on trial for Aggravated Assault in the state of Arkansas, is it likely he is guilty?

And if he's a lying liar and says he didn't know that pointing a gun and pulling the trigger put someone at risk, would a reasonable person have known?

The answer, of course, is yes.

This thread went nuts last year over Castle doctrine, stand your ground, no warning shots are ever justified etc. Well, self defence is mentioned in this very felony, it is Steven 'Boogie2988' Williams only hope.

At no point in the video did the victim indicate through his words or actions that Steven 'Boogie2988' Williams was in imminent danger of any harm at all, let alone any harm that justifies a gun.

The defence will lean on this: the personalities of those involved; the history of the defendant and his many issues. They will waste the court's time by making the victim seem nothing of the sort but what they will not do, what they will never do, is prove that Steven 'Boogie2988' was ever in any imminent danger, let alone the type of danger that justified pulling the trigger on a gun.

Conclusion

If this matter goes to trial, Steven 'Boogie2988' Williams will be found guilty of the felony he is accused.

I have no doubt, nor shall the jury.
