You didn't think that when the Democrats stole the 2020 President election and every institution in this country colluded to lie about it, cover it up and destroy anyone who questioned the election results? Keep in mind, this is after they orchestrated an entire year of rioting, gaslit the public about it and also used a pandemic in order to destroy the economy to try to make a sitting President look bad.
Of course I did but you can somewhat reasonably rationalize that away as Trump being a serious potential danger. Did I think that? Of course not. I'm not retarded, but considering 60%+ of the population of American has taken an experimental vaccine for a disease that has a 99.95% survival rate for everyone who contracts said disease I can see how someone could fall prey to the pressure of believing that despite the fraud it was necessary for the continuation of the republic.

That belief is entirely based on the idea that fundamental laws act as rules that will be applied equally to the average citizen. This trial shows the fundamental laws of the land will not be applied equally and are subject to mob rule and the actual state has no problem exploiting that to punish citizens for having a political position, that is protected, they disagree with. In this case the right to defend yourself from getting killed.

That is the state declaring war on its citizenry. There is no returning from that. It's in a public trial for everyone to see. As bad as stealing an election is, declaring war on your own citizens is worse.

This is the biggest and stupidest cope of all. There are no jurors who want to acquit but are just so scared. If there was, they or another juror would speak to someone about it and it would become an issue. You guys act like this country has never seen juror intimidation before and like we don't have ways to deal with it and the jury has no recourse if it happens. This is complete nonsense.

This same cope was bright up during Chauvin and guess what, it was completely false. There's no intimidated jurors, just leftist true belivers who don't care about facts or logic who won't give up their positions no matter what.
Because I don't particularly care about this trial, I also don't particularly care about your dooming. Juror intimidation has stepped up massively and changed in its nature recently from what it was in the past and what our systems are set up to deal with. If you want to chew on your black pills and insist 'the jury is corrupt because sOcIeTy' you can, but here in the real world there is in fact the possibility that the hold outs are neither 'one just man standing up for Kyle's innocence' nor 'one Karen insisting Kyle fry' and are in fact 'one or more jurors afraid to render a decision, because they are aware that their decision will carry consequences for them that they do not want to face'.

I personally suspect this is the most likely answer because it is what the evidence provided to us most supports. I've already stated the answer to this is to completely sequester juries in politically charged cases from start until finish and keep loud protests out of earshot of the coutroom to avoid this in the future. Assuming that the only response to the pressures of the media and the riots are either to reject or to agree with them is stupid when people have outright stated in multiple cases now that their behavior has been out of fear, not true believing.

Of course I did but you can somewhat reasonably rationalize that away as Trump being a serious potential danger. Did I think that? Of course not. I'm not exceptional, but considering 60%+ of the population of American has taken an experimental vaccine for a disease that has a 99.95% survival rate for everyone who contracts said disease I can see how someone Ishtar fall prey to the pressure of believing despite the fraud it was necessary for the continuation of the republic.
This is completely insane bullshit.
That belief is entirely based on the idea that fundamental laws act as rules that will be applied equally to the average citizen. This trial shows the fundamental laws of the land will not be applied equally and are subject to mobile rule and the actual state has no problem exploiting that to punish citizens for having a political position,t hat is protected, they disagree with. In this case the right to defend yourself from getting killed.
And this is completely right. I love being on a site where I can say both these things and neither get me banned!

Remember the weird world where we could agree with each other on some things and disagree on others and still get along?

He's on trial for the most avoidable thing in the world.

I know it’s uncomfortable to stress test self defense in our American courts. Because it can be jarring to hear that a court convicted somebody of defending themselves. (Hope this is not the outcome)
But he had a right to be there. A lot of people might disagree with me but the rioters - in their own fucked up way - had a right to be there too. (Curfew laws are so fucked) It was when they attacked him shit went south.

I hope nobody’s take away from this is that you should be scared to be outside cause you have no rights to self defense. Even in hostile environments. The verdict hasn’t been handed out yet. Even tho it seems the thread is becoming more and more sure that the verdict is guilty everyday, lol.

I didn't suspect things were this bad after 2020 because I assumed most of the rot was at the national level. Now we're seeing that even down to local courts the system is fundamentally broken.
America is diseased. Rotten to the core. There's no saving it - we need to pull it out by the roots. Wipe the slate clean.
