Don’t you mean, please die?

Home, I think. They're not sequestered. I'm sure they'll never see a news report. No peeking.
I am admittedly completely ignorant of jury trials since we don't have those here as far as I know, but getting sent home and not seeing the news seem to kind of cancel each other out, I mean, they can't send a jerkop to every jurors home to make sure they don't watch TV or get on their computers, right?

...right?

Please tell me they can't

I'm gonna hate myself for taking the bait, but
The forefathers had it right and Lincoln fucked it up by strengthening the federal government. It was a good system that degenerated over time. Great at the beginning, not so great (but better than everything else somehow still) now.
I'd argue that it was a somewhat passing system before centralization, but not really a good system. People like to think that democracies/republics provide rights and representation but they really don't. Decentralization provides rights because it creates a tangible and real need for the powers that be to both appease the population while also maintaining a functional society because decentralized powers are always at risk of losing their power.

Edit:
People forget that you literally had a rebellion against the US while Washington was still in office and it was mostly over corruption (Shays rebellion).

So the Defense didn't push the Mistrial with Prejudice even though the meta data on the video clip didn't match the one the prosecutor had? Why the hell isn't Kyle's Defense team pushing, tampering critical evidence like that would have got him off today.

The judge flat out told them to come back with an expert.

The kid really isn't on trial. There's an environment around it, I think the Prosecution is incompetent to a degree, but I think they want a mistrial for political reasons. I think even the Defense Lawyers kinda realize that, the Jurors are already intimidated. Even before the trial began it was literally a sure fire thing that they should've been sequestered, but they didn't.

No they don't buuuuut now that I think of it a free concubine as a "reward" for jury duty that keeps an eye on them to try and prevent that would be a wonderful idea.

I elected to calm down from my outrage this afternoon by having some hot chocolate and I recommend you all do the same.

With that being said I will start condemning this country's very existence if this doesn't end with Kyle walking free via acquittal or mistrial w/p.
Beer for me because debilitating alcoholism.
I'm beginning to glow over this, even if Kyle walks this thing was a travesty.
