I guess we'll see but that's a high bar. It blows my mind that if he offered custom artwork for $400 it'd be crickets except people crying about how expensive that is, but pull random assets out of a hat and throw them on a jpeg and out come the

Being among the first is part of the appeal. The fact that people get angry over it (as they do over twitch thots licking microphones or bathwater), helps because then people can't stop talking about it emotionally and this just helps reach more people.

It also reminds me of the wu tang clan album where they just produced one copy and auctioned it off. It used to be in an area where you couldn't bring recording devices so people could listen to it but not copy it. It makes money by selling to richer folks, which makes poorfags seethe even harder.

My prediction is that this might make him around 100.000$

After all fine art has been solely a vehicle for money laundering since its conception. If it were CHUDS getting sucked into a scam, the posts and "comics" would be neutral toned attempts at mockery. All of those things can be easily pirated, but in some circumstances, people choose not to.
One reason for doing so would be to support an artist. Generally, I pirate all of my digital media, but I pay for content from artists I want to support who I think could use the money.
Stonetoss selling NFTs is no different. It's like a digital media release and a merch run combined into one, but with less overhead on his end.
I don't see why people seethe so hard over this. Getting irrationally upset about this does not make you special or sophisticated.
