There are indeed a lot of supringsly older kiwis. I know we have a few 60+ even.

It legit scared and suprised me when I found out I was older than Null.
I’d wager the majority of the users here are in their 30s, tbh
I'm on the other side of it, based on any comments that let you infer age I appear to be notably younger than most posters. I feel like a zoomie around here sometimes.

If kids aren't learning cursive then how do they sign their names on documents? Do they just sign their name in block letters like a sped?
That is the only thing they really tried to teach us IIRC they spent a half day on writing our signature and left it at that. but all the documents i have ever signed have also required my printed name too.

I was never taught cursive, but it was taught in a different class in like middle school, so I sort of learned it through osmosis of other kids. I've pretty much forgotten how to write in it at all, except for my name.

What if you found out your parents were on here shitposting? Would that disturb you?
Are you kidding? I would love to have my dad on the Farms. Shitposting back in the day was one of the ways we bonded. I'd also enjoy my mom's politically incorrect hot takes.

Very few things would be more cozy for me.

How can you tell a millenial from a gen X? A millenial moves back in with his parents. A gen X's parents move back in with him.

Considering all that tech goes away with one weaponized EMP or the Sun getting pissed off... We humans still need to be able to write, so we don't lose our history.
You aren't wrong, but we will have much much bigger problems than handwriting and history if that ever happens.

It’s difficult to base age off of text, most of the time. From what I’ve personally gathered (maybe it’s just who i choose to interact with) most people here come from the bygone era of the great mid-to-late 2000s 4chan and similar boards. Too old for that autistic cesspit, too far mentally sound for Reddit et al.

Anyway, sorry to get off topic. Binger isn’t fat but I would not have sex with him lol

In my school system, the (primary/elementary) school wouldn't let you use pens until you learned to do "joined" handwriting. Problem students used to get forced into extra classes before school opened where they were forced to join every non-capital letter in their words (including Gs, Qs. Ys, etc.). Without fail, everyone who came out of that class ended up writing illegible garbage, and had to unlearn those "lessons" over the next few years to get back to something humans could read. Poor bastards
