They've never really looked at Rekieta's actual record as an attorney (even though it is easily obtained).
To be fair, it's about average. It's not like he is Kevin Landau.

Actually, Nick's channel was already growing fast prior to the Weeb Wars.
The Weeb Wars may have caused a "bump", but his channel as a whole was already on a big upward "slope".
And, to be fair, it's Nick who made the Weeb Wars known, not the other way around.

No wonder they're so assmad about Nick.
With the advancement of technology, anyone with a decent microphone and camera can be known across the internet as long as they're entertaining.
I personally don't like Nick much because of his grifts but I can't take away his ability of being a good entertainer.
Which is why they're so butthurt about him :
He is entertaining and knows how to maintain his audience, hell, it even got larger lately while these randoms on twitter have not these abilities.
Let's make a list of the most proeminent ones shall we ?
- (failed) Cosplay Thots
- Less reknown voice actors (literally whos if anybody were to told you their names in a casual conversation)
- Proclaimed professionnals in the VA industry (yet we never heard their names until the case happened)
- Those who use these previous people in order to gain 15 minutes of fame on Twitter (while thinking they'll be remembered forever)
- Unknown simps of these previous people.
And the two last ones are always similar in their speaking patterns, it's no wonder they're so hard to tell apart from each others.
So how do think they would fare if they were to try streaming/podcasting ? They'd be drowned amongst the other ones who thought of the same idea.
They have nothing new to bring despite their nauseating virtue signaling.
And you know what's even better ?
THEY KNOW IT.
