Anyone that took the case was in it for the clout to some extent. It's a huge case that the entire country was going to follow and would affect their careers for the rest of their lives.

And as far as the negative attention, Kyle came out squeaky clean with all the not-guilties and video evidence showing exactly what occurred. This isn't like Zimmerman where there's question of why a guy ran after a black kid for a minute before going to stand by his truck. Kyle was proven beyond a doubt to have been assaulted first and then trying to run away, it's next to impossible for him to not be able to get on with his life especially when he's still young enough to have a baby face going on so in a few years he'll look drastically different and not even be recognized.
And if he theoretically changes his name or something? I highly suspect that he'll just fade away if that's what he wants to do. People will remember the case and the name, but they'll likely just think "I wonder what happened to that guy".
That's probably the best thing for him too.

Seeing Kyle collapse broke my heart.

He may have "won" in court but he's not won overall, he's going to face a tough life going forward with PTSD and mental issues from this attack. He's never going to go back to normal, that's gone.

I held back tears. I‘m just glad that he won’t spend the rest of his life in prison.

What a ride. Figure I'll drop a post in honor of page 1788, as a certain someone's constitutional rights have been upheld by a jury today.

I've been silently following the thread since the second day of trial, witnessing and experiencing the many ups and downs of the case. While I have always understood Kyle to be justified in his actions, I wasn't sure what his fate would ultimately be. Would we see self-defense legitimized, or would we bear witness to kangaroo court of outrage? Thankfully, reason persisted.

As was mentioned before, the system is not perfect. There was a lot wrong with this trial, including but not limited to the unfettered libel spewed by the press, the unashamed misconduct comitted by the prosecution, and the well-intended naivety of the judge . Fortunately, the facts and the evidence were all on Kyle's side. He was acquitted on all counts because he was not guilty on all counts. A textbook self-defense case has resulted in the appropriate result, despite it being current year.

This is a victory for Kyle, for justice, and for us all. Enjoy the salt, everyone. Thank you for both the commentary and memes. I hope the Kenosha Kid can get on with his life.

Honestly, I think this case was being watched carefully even outside the US by people who worries about civil rights and the rule of Law. Everyone had morbid curiosity on how far they were going to go to ruin Kyle's life, but it seems they were too confident or stupid to manage even a single guilty charge.

And all of those people publicly blasting Kyle still... Very telling of their character that they wish that a convicted paedophile and his posse of menaces to society were able to swarm and beat the hell out of a minor and possibly killing him, if not worse.

Happy to see the kid go free. and gleefully piling the salt mined from these degenerates.

I really hope Kyle and his family have plans to move immediately, preferably to a deep red state. He can move down here. We’ll take care of him, and buy him a beer when he turns 21.
Outside of lib sewers like Massachusetts, every state is deep red other than the major cities.
He would do well to move to rural Wisconsin.
Kyle will have an army defending him.

>Kyle was deemed not guilty of tripple homicide?
>Politifacts says MOSTLY FALSE. While legally he was in the right and the court deemed him innocent, he did murder 3 people for no fucking reason and deserves to go to fucking prison for laif.

Should have saved a bullet for yourself, Rittenhitler!

>invoking a comic strip cat, who in reality, most likely wouldn't give two tits and a gravy about this
What is it with the left and their obsession with media?
:stress:
Edit: @LiquidKid - WHAT. THE. FUCK. It's almost as bad as Garfield: Royal Rescue. Almost.
Speaking of cartoons, how long until we see a boomer drawing every single villain in media celebrating Kyle's innocent so they can go: SEE!!! THEY LIKE HIM THAT MEANS HE'S EVILLL!!!!!
