Overheard the last part of a discussion in which two coworkers talked while I was gone before I knew about the verdict today - one of them said, "I know that this will just encourage people to carry (guns) and will encourage violence."

People always comment on how friendly Americans are.

Reddit's commentary on the trial not being censored to death by tranny jannies has been the most bizarre part of this entire case. It really shows off how much of a hugbox/echo chamber Twitter is even compared to other left-wing sites like it.
It's Old Reddit rearing it's head again somehow. Redditors were always cringe but the circa 2011 Ron Paul supporter types would have backed Rittenhouse had this case happened then. I guess a fair number of them are still around.

I"m loving all the "But... but... he's a white supremacist."

Yet the only thing they have is "Peaceful protest at a black lies matter protest is where the three got shot, that makes him a white supremacist!"

My favorite was being asked "Oh, so you'd shoot someone charging you during a protest?"

Bitch, I'd drill them twice to be sure.

Ok which one of you did this?
I dont get it
No, but seriously guys. What's with this white supremacy narrative? It literally does not make any sense. I can usually torture out some corrupted form of rationality behind leftist sneeding if I twist the logic hard enough, but this time I am genuinely unable to comprehend what I'm reading. It's insane even by DNC propaganda standards.

It almost feels like someone forgot about a dead man's switch and they accidentally released the wrong update to the NPCs. Are we witnessing a bunch of unthinking useful idiots obediently repeating something they know is incorrect because their masters fucked up and gave them the wrong script?
A lot of normies are deleting tweets because they realized they got it all wrong or are scared of possible defamation lawsuits, they are fucked anyway because there are caps.

But at the end its all a diversion, they have to somehow convince the same people who were told that being white is a sin and when a white person dies god smiles that right now for some reason they should be worried that 3 guys with the whitest names out there got killed by a half-mexican kid. So they lie and say the guys were black, they "forget" to mention Kyle's mixed heritage and lighten his skin in photos so he looks whiter than he actually is.

You have to consider the consequences of this: 93% of the people in movements like antifa are white, what this verdict means is that its open season for them.

I ugly cried myself for a good 30-45 before i could reel myself back in. I had only been watching and I think mine was the relief of the jury taking so long, i couldn't fucking imagine how him or anyone close to him would have felt in that moment.
Don't tell Nick Rekieta you cried if you're an adult male.

(Sorry Nick I love you but your stance on this is too hardcore.)

Clicked onto the r/news thread on reddit that was top of the main page, expecting to see redditors reeeeeing. Nope, top ranked posts are about how much of a meme the prosecution was, especially Binger asking about whether Kyle played COD.
Even normal areas of reddit see the prosecution case for what it was, a pile of shit. Furthers my theory that Twitter and Youtube comments are the absolute cesspit of hot takes (no, REEEEEEEstera does not apply).
"There are hundreds of Bingers out there" is so fucking true. As happy as I am for this outcome today.. imagine all the trials we don't watch where there are Bingers locking people up left and right. It's so fucked that prosecutors are praised for their conviction rate.. they just go for dubs and not actual justice.
There are so many people out there who can't afford legitimate legal counsel. Public defenders might try but they are loaded with other cases they'd rather get you a plea deal to get your off of their plate.
Don't even get me started on the number of people locked up for weed. Our justice system is fucked.

Sry I could go on cuz I'm a lil drunky but today is a happy day for Kyle lol
