Western Canada is all things considered very different ideologically from the rest of Canada, and Covid in particular has really re-awoken the desire within us to fight back and regain rightful control of our provinces. Don't forget Jordan Peterson came from Western Canada. None of us here are happy about what has been happening to our country, and people are not standing by silently.

All of us must collectively continue to fight back against these injustices that are being done to us. Perhaps today is making me feel overly optimistic, but I sense a turning of the pendulum in general.

When you're being attacked by someone with a deadly weapon who clearly means to kill you, you don't act carefully and gauge how much force is necessary to stop the threat, you stop the threat. In a split-second-decision situation, one you didn't instigate where the slightest hesitation could mean your death, it shouldn't be surprising that he fired off multiple shots, whether Blake backed away or started running or not. It's not like he dropped the knife then ran a few blocks away and the cop calmly got out a rifle and shot him.

Some people here in the US literally believe the only weapons we should have, if any, are muskets like the ones the Continental Army used to repel the British Empire.

They think the Founding Fathers, for some reason didn't have the foresight to understand that in the future warfare would evolve and that weapons of war would evolve as a result when during their lifetimes they already saw how muskets came in and replaced swords and bows and arrows as primary war weapons.
