An offhand statement clarifying that Russ may think he's talented, but that AGT determined that he wasn't talented enough to get on TV. Something like that. That's the most I can reasonably hope for from all this. But I'd be thrilled to get anything more. Fingers crossed that this doesn't just get unceremoniously dismissed before Russ gets shit on by AGT's lawyers.

Or better yet, how about make it a game show. Hold tryouts for lawyers to try the case, and select 12 of the best. They can then take turns dunking on Russ on camera, competing for a cash prize, or partnership at a sponsoring firm. Eliminate lawyers as you go, especially hilarious motions or rulings get you elimination immunity for an episode.

In the end, whoever makes Russ's head tighten and pop into a cloud of red mist wins. They can call it America's Next Skordas.

This is just it, though. Relative to other cows, he has a bit of a work ethic insofar as he works. He also literally goes to the gym. But even knowing Russ as well as the regulars in this thread do, I sometimes think people still overestimate how much effort he actually puts into things. That's all I'm saying.

Also, I'll just say it: I simply do not believe he worked three jobs, concurrently, for any significant amount of time (if at all). Correct me if I'm wrong, but no one's ever corroborated that. I can believe he saved his pennies for a brothel run, mostly because he has nothing else in his life to spend money on, but I don't believe working too hard was the reason it took him so long to graduate. There's likely a grain of truth in there somewhere, but it sounds like a big fat cope overall. It seems a more likely explanation is that he had to take a reduced courseload because he's just this side of exceptional, and had part time jobs like most students do. Except he wasn't most students, he was Russell Fucking Greer and He's The Best At Everything, so a part time college degree and a part time job has to be rewritten as this epic feat that most people could never accomplish. And he can show his commitment and pride in his "lifestyle" by mentioning how important hookers are to him, to the point he put his education on hold for them, and also isn't it sad that this poor disabled guy has to "date" by using escorts for his one night stands?

It's unlikely on its face, and incredibly self-serving as a bonus. Call me a skeptic.

Didn't one of his paralegal classmates (Nippleless Woman?) come here to confirm that Russ DID work three jobs at the same time to same money for his hooker trip? And he even took some time off from school in order to do so, that's one of the reasons it to him so long to get his certificate, IIRC.

iirc, she mentioned that he got into some shit because he posted about how he and a few others on the missions went to a strip club. in her words (again iirc, i tend to put the rekieta streams on for background noise on long car drives) he “named and shamed” the ones who went with him. i could be wrong but i seem to distinctly remember that. i think it was around the part in the book where he mentions narrowly escaping being in trouble with the church by lying and saying he was “just kidding” about strip clubs etc

Russ never filed proof of service (as required by FRCP Rule 4 (l), so they haven't been served yet. They have 21 days after they are served to respond. What Russ filed was a summons (as per Rule 4 (b) which then must be served ( (c) (1) ), and proof of service submitted (l)
