A fucking fantasy land, that's where. What I find the most hilarious is that the Venn diagram between people howling about the Rittenhouse verdict, and people who parrot the BLM "Abolish the Police!" mantra is basically a circle.
Like, what the fuck do you morons think abolishing the police is going to look like? Because what happened with Rittenhouse is exactly what it's going to look like: people attempting to organize their own self-defence systems to protect themselves and their property, typically via the use of guns. If you take away the police rather than, say, instituting reforms to ensure better transparency and accountability, Rittenhouse is what you're left with. Conservatives in America are far better armed, more experienced at using them, less prone to factionalism, and better organized - it doesn't matter where you fall on the ideological spectrum yourself, it's plain as day to see. Antifags are typically nothing more than extremely dedicated LARPers, and they regularly siphon off their best members for ideological impurity, so they are an organizational disaster.
The fucking travesty that was CHAZ in Seattle, with rampant internecine crime and middle-class exceptionals trying to grow vegetables in piles of fucking cardboard, is what happens when these morons attempt to actually *do* something. Part of the reason I personally am so disillusioned with the left is this child-like (and ironically, populist) tendency to have much to say about what they think is wrong with the current order, and absolutely nothing practicable to say about what should replace it.
So, yeah... abolish the police, you fucking morons. Then enjoy the army of Rittenhouses that will inevitably follow.
