I find it helps to focus on the hilarious part, which is the fact that he's playing them backwards for absolutely no fucking reason. I actually thought for awhile that I had simply missed it when he did GTA 3 and then Vice City, and nearly couldn't believe the truth when it hit me.

He planned to play them in order, for what it's worth, but said he couldn't afford to pay for the full trilogy. (He indicated he thought, for whatever gin-brained reason, that you'd be able to just buy III, Vice City, and SA individually, so he'd only have to pay piecemeal.) Thus, he's playing SA first, as it's the one on GamePass.

I'm enjoying the fact that the whales aren't even trying to pretend that they're not funding the streams now. This stream's tips were what, 70% from 2 people (who may be the same person)? Maybe OIC will stop faking "organic" donations and will just tip a ton of money with the same account.

How Phil doesn't get desperate when he sees this kind of shit is beyond me. I'd guess that around 70% of his income depends on 10 people or less. Any content creator with half a brain would be looking for a job to have an alternative source of income. Not "DSP The Immortal", though.

This is part of why I'm comfortable saying that his figure on Champions alone has to be more than double the minimum that has been concretely established, as well as further convincing that his Twitch checks were indeed the safety net he no longer has. Those two things combined mean that he has absolutely NOT cut back on his gacha spending in order to compensate, which is more than enough proof that he won't under any circumstances.

That's because you're not determined to lead a spoiled existence. Phil is. He is an addict, but unlike the kind who stand a chance on recovering, like Steve-O, he's not capable of hating that he's an addict. He's only able to hate paying a price, and he never connects the dots, he never follows the trail of bread crumbs back to the action he took that led to him suffering in some way. He's afraid to, and he copes with that fear by choosing to remain forever focused on the punishment, never looking at the bad deed.

Likewise, Phil doesn't look at his situation as being one where it's time to self-preserve. What he sees is retards who are going to keep him alive forever, and so he's going to just keep enjoying that, forever. That's the non-scary view, however unrealistic it is, and so Phil sticks with it, and will, no matter what.

Accountability is his painting of himself that ages in his stead, and as long as he never looks at it, he feels he wins. I look forward to him discovering otherwise. He won't admit it, but at least he'll finally be punished properly.

 

[Need Help With Tips]

You can really tell how bad Phil wants to splurge on his day off. It's one of the few things he doesn't lie about and he still gets sympathy from his whales; no matter how much he tries to make it sound like he has a bunch of mystery billz that he needs to pay off on off days, it always circles back around to "I wanna have a nice day off and do a bunch of frivolous bullshit with mah mo- my wife guys" and they eat it up.

Not sure I agree. I mean, yeah, the fact that he still is getting money from them with no signs of slowing down (yet) is the most important thing. Even leaving aside appearances, though, I'm in the camp that suspects this is at least partially why Phil has been seemingly growing more manic recently.

I don't even know how anybody tortures themselves by watching DSP streams. I always just skim this forum a little bit every day, and even then I feel depressed. I always follow entertaining people that don't scam their audience.
