Rising Thunder, and yeah, was originally made by Seth Killian (old school SF guy) and the Cannon Brothers. It got bought out by Riot and then shelved before making it into Beta. While I don't know Phil's opinion, I can theorize. It was the first fighting game (that I know of) that offered one-button special moves w/cool down timer (much like how Gran Blue Fantasy: Versus has); so it's very simplistic in that regard. Outside of that, you can just play a track of his usual "no skill, gimmick, bull-shit" stuff he says about other games.

He's complaing about how everyone in the game is way better than him. Him being a "variety streamer" is why he sucks, not because he actually sucks. Some guy says he's played 12 hours and is beasting at the game. Phil says he would be beasting too but has only played 6 hours. Says he played Halo every day when he was younger and he was great.

I have Halo installed but havent played it yet... but it doesn't look all that different from all the Halo's. Shouldn't take 6 hours to get back up to speed on a game you use to play everyday.

This insane cope sheds light on the true problem with Dark's streams is that he doesn't actually like playing any games. If he wanted to get decent at Halo he could just play it a few times a week, there's literally no reason he can't do that. No, what he really wants is to have some tenuous excuse for why he can't be good and then move away from competitive games for awhile. Total manchild bitch.

Oh he knows, and while I can't say for certain what's what; he doesn't like the Cannon Brothers. He didn't like them back in the 1990's (probably because their entire family is like smart and rich), he doesn't like their netcode that they've marketed (you can hear him bitch about it), and is just one of the reasons he doesn't play on GGPO (aside from getting stomped by all the hardcore guys), and he definitely isn't happy with them being at the top of the structure of EVO... and while I don't know what it was, he definitely doesn't like whatever it was they did to him back in the day. Something happened, and he's holding a grudge, you can tell by how hard he rants about anything around them. So no doubt seeing they're involved with Rising Thunder and now Project L; he's not gonna play.
