It's hard to tell really. Right now they're still trying to figure out what happened for sure, and they don't want to release any information that might be incorrect immediately. Suspect is in custody, very likely. Vehicle is all matter of banged up from the look of it, if it was a drunk driver that's not a surprise.

Drunk drivers are strange. If they moved around the barricades then gunned it, possible. If they went through it, also possible. One of the biggest dangers of drunk driving is how erratic it is. Precision control is still possible, but difficult. Also when we're talking about barricades for something like this, it's pieces of wood painted up, not too big. Going through them isn't that hard for an SUV to do.
