I think this is the first vehicular mass casualty event (besides a plane) we’ve seen in this country. The area they plowed through is one of the most conservative parts of the state. It’s a clear declaration of war against people on the right. If there’s any good that comes out of this it will be that republicans will stop with this “criminal justice reform” bullshit and stop allowing bail for repeat offenders and especially sex offenders. How is a repeat violent criminal out on $1,000 bail after a bail jumping charge? If someone violated bail, they shouldn’t get bail ever again I can’t understand why that would ever be allowed.

Five, ten years ago, I would've dismissed this as a random act of violence. Prosecute and move on. However, with the current state of politics influenced by social media... The seeds of doubt are sprouting into trees of truth and realization.
