I'm only questioning/theorizing because nothing has been decided yet. But with the economic crash that is coming, one of the ideas floated to help soften the blow, is to tax people on unrealized gains. One type of unrealized gains is the value of ones house going up, so here's my question. Does this change in any way with Phil in the middle of a granted bankruptcy? Because if that does happen; Phil wants to cry about tax bills, the housing market has gone insane and people are either gonna be forced to sell, or get evicted for being unable to pay.
Sure I guess KoF was probably not in the upper echelons of fighters back when he was in the arcade scene in North America (although I guarantee you he's being intentionally ignorant and he would have known at least a few people who played KoF on and off) but this was mostly because he would have experienced some dissonance between different regions, KoF was mostly stuck on arcade cabinets for the longest time and took a while to move to consoles, that was not the case at all with Street Fighter, Capcom took advantage of the growing popularity of the game in western markets and saw an opportunity to make more money, SNK for some reason decided to stick with the neo geo for a while, but obviously they've made a multitude of games in the franchise just as much (if not more I believe just having a brief look) as Capcom have with Street Fighter, so it's not like KoF didn't have it's own dedicated audience, I think it was the go to game in lots of places in South America as well, as the arcades tournaments there were a little bit different then what they were then North America.
