Here's the Jeep after the cops found it. Take note of the small white spot on the windshield. I think that's one of the 3 shots a policeman shot at during the event. The cars for you yanks I think is right side, which might explain how Brooks got caught with the car and the other two fled, if he got shot and the others ran. Don't know why he reversed parked it though.

All the other images we've seen of the car parked in that driveway have had it the same way. In a high-stress situation, the human body starts to run on autopilot, following muscle memory rather than conscious thought. This is why militaries spend so much time honing the see target/shoot target reflex, because if that's not your first instinct but it is the other guy's, then you're fucked. He probably reverse parked it because that was what he always did, so his body reacted without thinking.
