What the fuck are they doing to that roast? Why did they pile a bunch of onions on top of it? What's the point of putting the potatoes and asparagus around the edge of the roasting tin, when part of the idea is to get the drippings onto it for flavour or to make a pan sauce (although it does look like they're braising it in stock, so that wouldn't work). Why is everything they cook always so greasy?

Admittedly the meat is a good colour and they did at least marinate it, so there's that. I'd preferentially eat that over tranch tacos, but I'd preferentially cook the roast myself and not do whatever they've done here.
It kind of looks like they're following crock pot / slow cooker instructions to me. Because you do sometimes pile aromatic veggies like onions and garlic on top of meat when you're slow cooking it, because the condensation that drips down from the lid onto the meat will kind of help cook the flavors of the vegetables into all of the meat - at least, it's what I do when I'm making slow cooker carnitas. I've never seen it done on an oven roast, though. Maybe if they're basting it, it'd have a similar purpose? No clue.

The roast itself doesn't look horrible to me, but the drippings and everything look really nasty. But also, why wouldn't you save a nice big roast like that for Thanksgiving? Did they get a turkey, too? I can't imagine taking so much food, especially expensive food, from needy families at the holidays. I guess that's because unlike these two, I have a conscience.

How does food banks in the US works? Can you just go there and take whatever you want, like no proof of how big of a family and previous checkouts?

I know she's going around to different food banks but is there any system in check to control how often and how much you get or is it early bird rules?
Food banks in the US are usually independently run by churches and the like, so there's no centralized system where you could keep records of who is coming when, what they get, what family size they have, etc. Mostly they rely on their patrons to be honest about their situation, especially these days with covid and all and so many people in tenuous living situations, out of work, etc. You might not be able to prove that your brother who got laid off is sleeping on your couch, but you still need to feed him, and it's a church so they're going to assume you're not lying about that.

Regulations on having to prove how many people are in your home, etc. just screw genuinely needy people out of food to feed their families, so usually there aren't any checks and balances more than, say, some places make you sign up for a turkey dinner kit at Thanksgiving and you can only sign up once, that kind of thing.

It really varies food bank to food bank.

IME some may track your visitation, or impose a limit (visits based on family size, based on pay stubs, etc), or both. Some may say to only come x many times a month but do not demand proof of income household size, or may not even really track it. In my experience, the religious ones have less limits and do not ask to see any documents. But it varies.

My universal experience across different ones though: a person has to really fuck up to get banned, like basically attack volunteers or staff. And they often are still allowed to come back. They can yell at and threaten workers and the place will give the greedy fucks more bacon or rib meat to go away. Being a POS pays off.

Yes, people abuse the shit out of it.

:story:

Imagine getting dumped by an obese hulk of a tranny. And imagine being dumped by the hulk tranny for a rash-ridden attention seeking goblin woman that pretends shes a man and a bird.

Will BonBon attend Sky’s funeral when he rightly kills himself?
Sky shouldn't kill himself. He should divorce BonBon and demand his interest in the Tranch during the divorce. Is Colorado a community property state?

Get him, Sky!

Shit, Colorado is a common-law state, you can get buttfucked by divorce attorneys even if all you did was some witchy seance and cohabitated for a while.

Also:

"Lol I like to do drugs"
"Lol I have multiple personality disorder"
"Lol I should get into gunsmithing"

I guess if he DIYs it there is no 4473 to worry about...

Also, lo-fucking L at "We can't find any income" I just went and searched jobs in Denver and the first result was a tire shop paying $18. That's more than I made at my first IT job where I was an on-call tech with 100% travel.

So legally how is this going to work exactly, with Boner being part owner of the Tranch?
The Tranch is a completely un-marketable property given the land is completely trashed, the house is shit and the utility situation is non-existent.. I would be surprised if the folks with ownership interests do anything other than walk away. I foresee the ones left doing some half-assed "Save the Ranch" gofuckmes which don't pan out and the remaining troons run out the foreclosure clock for a year and a half (maybe longer given the backlogs) until they all scatter like roaches once the time runs out.

Nothing changes. Bonnie would have to sell his interest, buy the other owner's interests (Penny?), or Sky will have to divorce him for something to materially change. Although, I ma not sure if Bonnie owns part of the ranch or if his Mom does. But even if his Mom owns the interest, she would still have to sell it or buy the other co-owners. Right now, status quo reigns. These folks don't have money so it will probably stay that way.

I hope they are paying their property taxes.

I've actually had some experience getting free food when I was in college. Some food banks ask for proof of income, some don't. The organization I got food from took family sizes into account by saying you can only have a certain amount of cans or produce per person (5 apples, 2 cans of beans, etc). Therefore, if you had multiple family members there you would get more food. There are also food banks that specifically cater to families and simply give you a big bag of food per family. Those places give it to you on a regular basis and is scheduled.

Many of those food bank opportunities are scheduled but I'm not sure how a "come when you need it" standard is set. I've only seen organizations tell people to call in and schedule an appointment rather than coming randomly and whenever you want.

I swear to god, if I don't get my homeless saga *sigh* However, this means two things: 1) Chanco is finally taking the grifting reins because Alyssa had to delete her twitter. This still doesn't mean that Alyssa gets her needed asspats and reassurances. 2) They have managed to get at least $350 more in money for rent since November 10th Alyssa's rent is $1650.

With the amount of what she was getting from dog walking, it's very unlikely that it's all from that. Where do you think she got the money from? I would like to assume that she stole items from that rich lady and then sold it to a pawn shop because it amuses me.

It seems like a recurring theme where a bunch of these people who are too "self conscious" about personal plights and psuedo-social plights, literally come up with any and every reason why they cant get a job to spend their days just living off of donations from people, asking everyone to help donate for them to pay rent as all they do is, eat, fuck, shit, cry on social media and sleep.

and somehow convince themselves that they are somehow morally better than everyone else. whilst also claiming they are victimized for being themselves.

They're pretty damn lucky to be born in a first world country,
imagine if they'd been born in a 3rd world country. I doubt there would be anyone giving them money to continue being selfish slobs.
