Let's say tubby gets his way and shuts ActiBlizz down. Congratulations: You've just put 9,500 people in the unemployment line. What a hero of the people you are Jim, you blinkered mongoloid. And it ain't just people losing their jobs, I don't know about the other studios under Activision umbrella, But I do know how Blizzard works with their contract people, and they offer some of the best medical plan in the industry, people take care of their parents and other loved ones this way enduring having to make yet another asset for WOW. The pay might not be that great till you get to a senior position (unless you are a super star, but thats another story), but the profit share and the medical they provide makes very worthy to work there.
Like you said, argument from emotion, Sterling feels validaded over this news about Kotick (who is probably going to bounce) and now gives the "burn down everything" self rigthous speech, because he is feeling himself. he doesn't understand how business work, now he wants to, he wants to rant hyperboles in a facede of "justice" that not even he believes that much.
I can't even fault Sterling at having another go at the dead horse, not so much because it is in the news cycle, but because that is what he does now, there is no point to even point it out, fatass gonna do his thing.
But at least I would like for Sterling to cut the bullshit and stop saying "I wish I could make videos about other topics, but I CAAAAANNNN'T!! because the videogame industry is the devil and I need to keep fighting it!!!"
Bullshit, Sterling goes to the dead horse because it is easy, the "script" for these sort of episodes are just stream of consciousness bullshit that he's been repeating for year and the research is to read twitter headlines, try to strech it to a 13-15 minute show by making the "awkard" intro and outro, and bam, another week of work in the bag.
If Sterling really wanted to talk about something else, he would, there is no one to say how many videos he can make or what he should talk about, we all know the only topics Sterling wants to cover is Capitalism bad, troon shit and his lame ass wrestle shit, because he can do those on his sleep.
Also, for the love of god Sterling, stop with the moral brown beat bullshit, some kid buying the new Call of Duty ain't a endorsement for abuse, do you go over a moral selection of everything you consume? This shit doesn't help anybody.
We can choose to support or not a product based on what happens in a studio, but no one besides the employers and bosses in a big corp can make any changes to it, and if the case comes to be, the legal authorities as well, so at the very least, leave people alone if they just wanna play a fucking game without this guilty trip bullshit, who gave you the moral high ground to judge others like that?
