The only point he had with any merit was that if America can't project power overseas they can't snatch up dissidents that flee to other countries. Despite this being such a weak argument, it was the strongest one he had, and it was the only one with any coherence, but Nick being Nick spent more energy in that debate making faces and pretending to be exasperated than he did arguing his position.

China's approval rates have been declining as well. "A rise in Chinas global power is beneficial to American dissidents"
