Georgia 'LYNCHING' citizen fatally shoots unarmed black man ... Video Emerges, Grand Jury to Convene

The fatal shooting of Ahmaud Arbery -- a 25-year-old black man out for a jog when he was chased and killed -- was caught on video, prompting a call for a grand jury to review the case.

Arbery's death is being referred to as a modern-day lynching, as he was unarmed when he was gunned down in Brunswick, GA on February 23 by a white citizen named Travis McMichael ... who has not been arrested or charged. He also happens to be the son of a former district attorney investigator.

As you can see in the video, Arbery was jogging when he was stopped by McMichael and his father in a white pickup truck. McMichael was armed with a shotgun. Arbery appears to attempt to run around the truck before he and McMichael start grappling.

After at least 2 shots, the men continued struggling over the gun ... until Arbery stumbles away, shot in the mid-section, and then collapses to the ground. He was later pronounced dead.

McMichael has not been charged in the shooting ... reportedly because he and his father, who was in the back of the truck, claim they were trying to make a citizen's arrest. They claim Ahmaud fit the description of a suspect in a string of recent break-ins in the area.

After the emergence of the video, D.A. Pro Tempore Tom Durden has decided the case "should be presented to the grand jury of Glynn County for consideration of criminal charges against those involved in the death of Mr. Arbery.”

Ahmaud's family says the use of deadly force was unnecessary.

Here's the statement from the district attorney who was brought in to oversee the case and decide how and whether the case should be prosecuted.

Attorney Lee Merritt, who represents Arberys mother, claims "The series of events captured in this video confirm what all the evidence indicated prior to its release— Ahmaud Arbery was pursued by three white men that targeted him solely because of his race and murdered him..."

The jury will probably reach a verdict today or tommorow.

It should be a Not Guilty, just from the facts.
The performance was bad as well from the State and court. The prosecutor was a Binger level spaz, for one, but we had no Judge Schroeder to rein them in, this dipshit judge rolled with Dimbulbikoski and was even more stupid. He allowed several outright lies about the law and reasonable doubt to just sail through, and his 'instructions' were contrary to the law as written.

However the collusion of the Prosecutor and Judge, the constant propaganda and outright jury intimidation, among other factors, might lead to guilty verdicts contrary to justice. They have a laundry list of appeal grounds, but it should never come to that. Everybody pray for these innocent dudes.

Those boys are going to jail.

And it will be justified

I can see guilty being justified if what i heard of the defense is true. That they didn't witness arbery committing any crimes that day.

As for stolen guns, that's because retards just leave them in their cars instead of a lockup in the house.

E; is there good day by day write up for the trial? Branca was more focused on the rittenhouse case and hasn't been doing much write up for this one.

I heard that the defense closing arguments were good, but the prosecution got a rebuttal. If anyone else saw it, how did it go?
Stupidly. The prosecutor sounded like a chipmunk on helium, quoted her husband, misrepresented the law and facts continuously, eventually had to be corrected by the judge, and finished with an implied black power salute.

Really sucks that this trial happened at the same time as Rittenhouse's, so no idea of how this case has gone down. Probably nowhere near as entertaining as the Binger and fat. Anyone follow it and have a summary?

Gut feeling is a guilty verdict, but that is without knowledge of what has come out in trial. All I remember are the jogger memes and the optics of another Zimmerman styled "citizen's arrest gone wrong".

these guys are fucked, wisconsin has been trending GOP for awhile so a case in rural wisconsin was always going to side with self defense. these guys are in super blue georgia. i bet most of the jury is nigs or married to nigs.
They're in rural Georgia, and all of the jurors are from rural Georgia.

The biggest problem for the McMichaels is thier opening statement said they had no cause for the citizens arrest they were attempting to execute. They're fucked. Did they intend to kill Arbury? No. Do I think they are racist? Maybe, but who isn't in 2021. The problem is they broke the law. The law might not be just or right or moral, but they broke the law by their own admission. You can't execute a citizens arrest without cause and since they both admit they didn't see Arbury commit any crime they don't have cause. The are going to jail and the judge wanted them to go to jail.

Is it fair? Probably not, but according to the rules, they broke them and will be punished accordingly.

Yeah, they were stupid by trying to do a citizens arrest and by bringing a gun into the matter too, especially since it was just essentially petty theft in which they were a disinterested party.

Armed Robbery was obviously a scumbag, but they were insanely stupid at the same time.

According to the Prosecutor's insane reading of the law, this is true. According to the law as it is written, they had proper cause.

According to the judge presiding over thier case they don't have cause. If I have a reason to arrest you on Monday but I wait until Tuesday to execute said arrest I've lose the right to do so. The judge interprets the law that way. So.. they are fucked. They can appeal it and maybe it goes to the Supreme Court but as it stands I tend to agree with the judge.

A shame that he's misreading the law deliberately, hence my prior remarks on the matter. You know Binger told the court that you lose a right to self defense if you're armed and your attack isn't? Almost like prosecutors will lie and political trials try to not operate under the rules.
