What Video caused you to stop watching a Youtuber?

It was a very preachy political video that seemed neutral at first, but then became "VOTE BLUE NO MATTER WHO!". It's worse when his channel is likely viewed mostly by children which is even worse as the demographic his content is for does not vote. Ever since then his videos have gradually become worse with his "This is Basically" series becoming unfunny garbage that are thinly veiled rants about series he doesn't understand. It doesn't help his twitter shows this where he insults fans of various shows and acting like his own opinion is superior (i.e. Like making fun of/insulting Jojo fans for thinking it had depth and then when called out, cried saying he was a victim who just liked a series for different reasons).

It gets worse since he still has his head shoved up his ass to sniff his own farts to this day acting like he is the most intelligent person ever.

Strange Parts is a tech tuber that lived in Shenzhen and did electronics projects, showed himself going to the markets looking for parts. When covid happened he bitched about how bad le racism against chinkerinos was, travel ban bad, etc. Very very faggy. Then he moved to some indian reservation and had zero content for months lol

Similarly there was a faggy lawtuber, can't remember his name rn, who had plans to fly his woman from Europe to get married but travel bans impeded it and he bitched hard about it and how bad orange man was for it. Literally 3 weeks later he was bitching that orange man had not done enough to stop the virus.

I hate when Youtubers do this, I had stopped watched Markiplier but rcently came back to watching him, but then he starts one of this videos sperging about how important it is to vote and that its our duty to do the right thing or some shit like that, nigger your job is to make me laugh not to tell me how to think, besides I'm not american so the whole sperging about voting democrat is fucking meaningless to me. But whatever.

More on topic, I recently started watching Anthomnia mostly his subnautica content as he is covering the development of a mod I'm interested in and has even shared some internal drama about it, but his retarded personality is fucking unbearable. The mod adds the gargantuan leviathan into the game (a big ass monster for those who don't play it), everytime he is showing off progress he will start screaming as soon as he spots the damn thing, why the fuck doesn't he show off the monster in creative mode so it doesn't attack I don't know. but his fucking latest video takes the cake.

He has been killed countless times by the leviathan in his videos, and yet he still screams like a madman everytime he is eaten, but this time the monster does a loud roar before eating his character, and the fucker starts screaming at the top of his lungs so fucking loud he had to put a sound warning in the video itself because of how loud he was fucking screaming at a dead animation he has probably seen a hundred times by now. So fuck that faggot I don't know if there is a less cringy youtuber covering that mod, but I'm not watching that faggot again.

Stopped watching YourMovieSucksDOTorg and Ralphthemoviemaker around the same time.
Started with Ralph, his skits started to become really cringey and he tries so hard to come across as a serious pretentious film reviewer, always making sure his alcohol bottles are in frame because 'Oooh the state of cinema! Gonna need a drink after this one, am I right guys?' but then he gets on Sardonicast (the podcast with the three of em) and his true colors really come out, that of a whiney and insecure young man that will easily change his opinion and can barely speak up for himself. None of the other guys take him seriously and often mock him or make him think twice and he gets all moody and quiet.

With YMS it was when he dismissed males competing against females in sports (politics + gay furry = always gonna be a bad time) and debated Null on what counts as animal abuse when it comes to zoophilia.. but there is already a thread on him here at the farms which has mostly everything.

I think I'd still watch him if he stopped it with the dead, serious, depressed tone. I kind of liked the skits and he can be funny when he says something ridiculous, but it's the same thing with JonTron. Histrionic humor is really funny, but over time if you try to tone it down to be serious because everyone around you goes all the way around into over the top retards, you'll stop being entertaining.

It's kind of ironic that he shat so badly on Bruce Willis for his poor acting, and being depressed and drunk, but he's basically phoning it in just like him. I thought his criticism was fun, especially in shows like Mystery Diners and that one shitty Transformer movie where he analyzed the length and structure of it. Simple for sure, but it's enough for someone who doesnt really do filmmaking stuff like me.

I've heard his films like King Candy did poorly though.

Not sure I've ever hit breaking point on any one Youtuber, but I've definitely come close several times with types like Game Grumps. I've only recently (say, this year) unsubscribed from them completely because there's nothing left of the channel I fell in love with. I like Danny, but even he can't save it anymore.

I think commenting on the Entertainment industry is pretty much a doomed. premise. You have zero ways to influence it so you will just cry from the sidelines (for a living). No wonder those people either burn out or go nuts eventually

You can at least somewhat improve things if you actually point out good things and recommend games that don't follow shitty practices, but Youtubers like Jim will behave as if only AAA games exist and overuse the same topics to the point they become gay and nobody cares about them.

I think I've mentioned it on his thread but I was a big Jim Sterling fan, even briefly a patron, and his interview with Digital Homicide really turned me off of him.

Digital Homicide were bullshit merchants through and through and lolcows in their own right, so it should have been a slam dunk but the whole interview just showed how weak, unclever, and smarmy Jim could be. Digital Homicide, wrong as they were, were making strong, thoughtful arguments and Jim was just throwing back bullshit one-liners so he could show his friends on twitter later.

It really broke the spell and I couldn't tolerate his samey videos that he still makes to this day, 6 or 7 years later.

When I was getting into Smite I used to watch Solodoublej since he got recommended to me through some other Smite YouTuber. He used to be occasionally funny and he made for okay background noise, he was a decent information source too if you knew nothing about Smite like I did. His videos were an alright timewaster even though his humor was rarely funny.

At some point SDJ started blasting obnoxiously loud EPIC MUSIC during all his videos, like everything he does is totally wacky or EPIC ANIME MOMENT BROOO with the same tracks and he only got worse from there. The most incredible part about him is that almost all his friends manage to be somehow unfunnier than him, like say MythyMoo. MythyMoo might as well be living proof that weebs, much like women in muslim countries, shouldn't be allowed to speak.

I think I stopped watching him when he started to spam videos of him beating the Smite bots and acting like it was all SUPER EPIC ANIME BROO. They're not easy but they're bots, that's an embarrassing accomplishment for someone that at some point got to one of the highest levels of non-professional Smite like he did.

Quinton Reviews- His Vidcon videos were the true point of no return (Part 3 is still unlisted lmao) but his drama with Mumkey Jones and MauLer exposing how much of a spineless coward he really is was what made me unsubscribe

MauLer- The ZS Justice League video was the smoking gun that proved that he is a lying piece of shit where it comes to his work output. It has been almost 3 years since he started his Force Awakens series and we still aren't done, yet he managed to get his Black Widow and ZS Justice League videos out in like a week of them releasing. the numerous 12 hour EFAPs have melted his brain.

Mumkey Jones- Lost all his bite after getting yeeted from youtube and the pedo saga. He barely makes any content anymore.

H3H3- During that period where he neglected his main channel for the Podcast and the only video he uploaded was to shill his shitty mobile game.

I started watching Pewdiepie when he stopped doing games, but once he returned to Minecraft, I stopped watching him. I haven't subscribed -nor I plan to do it- and I'm ok with him doing the content he wants to do, but I haven't been able to hook up with his content again.

The YTer I did quit was Nailogical. She's in fact a smart woman who's kept her IRL work and has now created her own nail polish brand, which I think it's great and most YTers should do too, but I can't stand the hypocrisy, nor her stupid boyfriend who's just a cuck. Both are Canadian and liberal: they aren't SJWs and they are in fact political incorrect and very aware of the problems of extreme progressivenes, but there was one moment when they were talking about richness when the boyfriend said he was against taxing rich people who have worked hard to get their money, but it was fine if this money was inherited. The catch is that they are the typical millenial couple that has decided to not have kids and have cats instead. Again, good for them that they have became rich due to Youtube, but they are basically saying it'd be wrong that they are taxed, but would be ok if my children do only because they didn't work for the money I worked hard for them to make, and this is because they don't have children themselves.
