One last post, but Kson's collab with Choueki Tarou earlier this month is kino and I highly recommend it for the peak Kson experience. I think Taishi might have LiveTL'd it. Choueki Tarou is a Japanese true-crime Youtuber and former Yakuza that has been mutual fans with Kson since Coco's debut. The premise is that they're having a card battle between crazy Yakuza stories and crazy Florida Man stories to see which one is the craziest.

Worth noting Nux changed his {redacted} to {busy}. This whole situation probably royally fucked up whatever he had lined up with this GenV group.
At first I thought this might have been a really shitty marketing thing for it, still could be who the fuck knows, considering this came in just days before the Vshojo anniversary and blew up the day of, but if he knowingly threw out what might have been a safer, more stable platform for something he thought was the right thing to do the I have a bit more respect for him, still a fag, but respect.

Are people really eating this shit up? Unless she's talking about another video the only time he's ever mentioned her was in his video talking about the guy you dmca'd melody.

This is the only video that she was even named in and he only talked shit about the guy who was trying to extort people.

This feels like a gay op, I don't know if he really was told to not post the video but with how they're acting you'd think nux had doxxed someone who's in witness protection.

Pretty much. The people who weren't in danger feel unsafe.
People need to be reminded of this. 12 people were doxed and yet the fucking whores at Vshojo are acting like they were the ones being doxed. They literally ghosted all the victims for a month and now every one of them is dogpiling on the guy who signal-boosted for the victims. I don't care if Nux is cringe or an attention whore, he's the one getting all the flak for warning people about danger. That's how fucked up these whores' brains are. I detect a minimum of 4 septum piercings and zero father figures in Vshojo.

Isn't the rule that if someone is going around imitating your company you would i don't know warn other people that this is going on so that way they can protect themselves and think "OH is this really Vshojo really trying to hire me or the scammer they warned me about?" I think them getting on Nux is them trying to hide the fact they weren't doing anything or they where but still chose to be silent which is still BAD.

Nagzz is never in a million years going to obliterate his own brand by turning on the VShojo girls. They're good friends of his too.
If he's smart he will just ignore it and not pick sides.

You might disagree with how I was defining revenue then. I was considering all money any of the girls made in their occupation as a vtuber as part of VShoujo's revenue. They are presenting themselves as representatives of the company during the streams so it seems like fair game to count to me at least.
How many of them are actually paying a cut to Vshoujo to have some semblance of an organizational structure going on (lawyer, pr, IT and human resources). Since we don't really know how that shit works I will just assume taht Vshoujo just takes a cut from sponsored streams which might not be enough for them to pay more than 1 person to full-time work on steering the ship. Also if the talents themselves get all pissy and quit the company itself looses all revenue thus the person handling this might not be too confrontational about some of these issues and just act as a consultant.

Pretty much. The people who weren't in danger feel unsafe.
Gotta score those delicious Victim points.

Welp thats everyone damn I really was rooting for Mel to be in Nux's corner

What correction is she referring to?
Given the way how some of them are replying it feels like some sort of company-wide response.

This is off topic a bit, but I'm curious what people currently think of Coco/Kson.

I could be wrong, but it seems she's largely drifted out of most conversations a month or two after she left hololive. Are people here still watching her as frequently as before? Has her content changed too much for some fans?
I wish Kson would do more english streams so I could tune in and for anything other than "anime girl has funny voice and makes funny noises". I do give alot of props to her clippers. Although the recent Pikamee collab where they played phasmophobia was hilarious to watch despite the language barrier.
Having all your employees parrot the same line this blatantly isn't a good way of convincing people you are being truthful.
Why do you think that wouldn't be a good tactic? Whether or not the group is in the wrong here doesn't matter. To me, it presents a united front. That itself will rally each of their collective bases to stick up for and defend their oshis. Nux better have some damning receipts to present. If not, the court of public opinion is already over from what I can tell. And it won't be in his favor.

This Nux Taku debacle is entertaining, but I can't get a good read on the guy. I'd assume he's playing a persona of some sort as far as the "I'm untouchable, I cannot be canceled" go. But is he really? I'm not so sure, when I looked into it further...

He mentions his "personal army". What happened with "Anonymous is not your personal army"? He weaponized 12 years old into a tool to harass "those who cross him". He constantly threatens people he's going to fuck them over if they mess with him. No one with an ounce of self respect would want to be a tool to fight some guy's feuds in his place. Any decent online personality would recognize how dangerous this kind of power is, and would not flaunt it, and would actively discourage his followers from raiding others.

The clout chasing. He's somehow worked himself into the inner circle of Vtubers starting with Melody. It looked like the lame kid wanted to work his way to the "cool kids table". This feeling again when he made his now removed video, it felt like he wanted to be seen as cool for having played a part into that. Definitely overplaying his involvment. I saw he recently played Minecraft on the Vshojo server... but ultimately, he doesn't care about the individuals, he cares about what they can bring him. I'm not quite sure why they're friends with him or what they see in him - he doesn't seem to bring anything to them other than a large following. And he uses them for content with shock value. I can't help but feel he doesn't see them as friends or equals. Other Vtubers collabs are more like "Hey let's have fun together and make it a fun show to entertain our viewers".

He doesn't create anything meaningful or artistic. Neither do a lot of other Vtubers especially in Vshojo, but if you look beyond streams, Hime has her sex toy gig, some of the interviews are interesting, Nyanners used to do songs every now and then, Froot does art. Outside of Vshojo, there's like Calliope from Hololive who does music, probably others there also do other creative things I don't know about.

High are the odds that he's a pathological narcissist, would explain why it's hard to get a good read on his motivations. Maybe it's autism. But I dunno, either way this guy gives me a creepy feeling.

One thing that Coco lost was the ability to collab with Holo talent and only gained the ability to freely collab with Pikamee and Melody.
pika was always safe enough tho, she had a collab with ina (which might have been kicked off due to the graduation, who knows). melody was the one management shut down pretty early.

as for coco, I enjoyed the dragon the most in collabs and 3d when she had someone to play off against. since that's out of the picture for the most part I don't really follow her that much anymore (but that's pretty much what I expected to happen so no hard feelings or anything). kson smugness hits different than badonker dragon smugness somehow too.

I’m glad she’s able to stay in contact with everyone.
helps she lives right next door to a certain powerpoint angel. that fucking pajama story involving her "best friend" was meta af.

This is what it looked like for Tokyo Game Show 2021:

Notice how fucking sparse the venue is? That's because they severely limited the number of attendees to mostly folks within the industry and those with press credentials. I can't even imagine a PAX convention these days being held with and this devoid of crowds.
meanwhile this was spiel essen last month:
(needed a vax pass tho which is why I skipped it)

probably depends how anal the organizers are about MUH INCIDENT NUMBERS (which say fuck all) next month.

I don't wanna clown on her because she apparently was a victim of the VShojo doxxing but Jesus fuxking Christ

>takes Nux's side and claims VShojo never did anything to help the victims after she allegedly contacted them about being sent a fake Vshojo Email
>spergs out on Gunrun and Vshojo for their lack of support towards the victims
>turns out she asked her discord (mods I guess) to message VShojo for her regarding her situation
>HER DISCORD DIDN'T ACTUALLY SEND THE FUCKING EMAIL
>complete 180° and is now trying to get on the good side of VShojo again

For sure its very effective, but for everyone not conditioned to defend unfounded victimhood reads it as gross and manipulative from a mile away.

To be fair, E-Thot is in her name, never gave her too long of a lead myself, still leaves IIRC 11 people who were affected by all of this, if what Nux says is true.

As a side note, from what I have watched of Nux, when he does one of these callout videos IIRC he tends to not hold back, yet all day all we have seen from him is him trying to make sure the Vshojo girls don't catch any grief from this, that might change as time goes on, but it says something more about this than other shit he's made videos on.
