Any normal, successful human being would be shitting themselves regarding going to prison. It isn't a weakness, it's a very normal response. The prospect of having all of your freedoms taken away, not to mention being surrounded by some nasty people you would have otherwise never had to associate with.

It's pretty telling and a strange flex to say he's not scared and it's just a "blip". It speaks volumes about how terrible his life outside of lock up is. Most people would be worried they'd miss the birth of their daughter or worried about job prospects after prison.

Not Ralph. For him, going to prison AGAIN isn't going to make any difference to his standards of living because he's a wigger, red neck with no taste in steak, horses or fashion. He'll be right at home amongst all of the other trash.

Of course a wigger like Ralph isn’t sweating leaving his pregnant girlfriend to fend for herself and give birth alone. It will be like a vacay to recharge and let Pantsu worry about all that baby BS.

100% when Ralph is being sentenced he will start crying to the judge about missing the birth of his baby and leaving pregnant Pantsu. The judge will just laugh because he gleefully abandoned and harassed his teenage baby mama but suddenly cares deeply once he’s facing time in county.

He's created quite the lose-lose situation for himself.

He gets on the birth certificate as baby's daddy, and he gets to pay Faith child support. If he doesn't pay Vickers will delight in making him suffer. If he does pay, they get money. He won't get custody because he's a felon in a different state who can't keep his mouth shut for five minutes. He won't be able to follow any guidelines for visitation and Vickers will drag him back to court.

If he doesn't get himself on the birth certificate he gets to seethe over being accused of paper abortion, and Faith and the Vickers raise his first-born son entirely without him.

Alexander doesn't exactly win since he gets to grow up in a contentious relationship (understatement) between a near-child and her furious daddy and Ralph. But either way Ralph suffers and Vickers enjoys it.

"any type of stay in jail is not a stay that you want to make"
(around 4:02 in case the timecode doesn't work)

He goes on to say how being in jail brought back old feelings he didn't like but unfortunately dispatch talks over most of it.
So this gigantic cope about being tupac is hilarious (as if we needed any more proof that Ralph is a wigger).

This reminds of part of Misery by Stephen King - a book, something which unlike Ralph I opted to read while not incarcerated - where the main character has his foot chopped off by the villain. In complete shock at what happens, he has to try and rationalise it. As a result, he starts thinking about how it is beneficial that he has less toenails to clip.

That is a more extreme version of what Ralph is doing here, he is trying to cope with his fear of going to jail - a normal, natural fear - by convincing himself it will only be beneficial for him. Far from a relaxing experience, to better his health and recharge it will be a stressful and frustrating time - and he knows this from first hand experience.

I can only imagine that missing his son's first experiences, leaving Pantsu to give birth alone and the grief of his lost parents will only compound how bad the experience will be.

Ralph is scared.
