Yes, I should have rephrased. Gays are not expected as much to accept TiFs than lesbians to TiMs, and if they reject the boipussy they aren't hated as much as lesbians who reject the girldick. It's Thanksgiving here in America and the family looks at me weird if I'm on my phone not socializing so I rushed a bit with my post.

I think this particular point is more because TIMs are men, and women have good reason to avoid physical confrontations with men. TIFs are women, and while women can certainly leverage social power, it's not quite the same as being able to beat the shit out of someone during a chimpout.

Gay men can afford to laugh at Aydens more than lesbians can with Lillith.

They are hated as much as lesbian women, it's just that men on average have an easier time standing up for themselves and not taking threats and mean comments to heart. It's a lot harder to intimidate someone when you're a 5'4" anorexic woman with pubes for a mustache and their reaction to you sperging about how bigoted and evil they are for not wanting to fuck a trans man is "lol ok."
In general no one really cares about TIFs even in their own community, just look at the recent reddit meltdowns on trans subs from TIFs complaining about the huge disparity between "FTM and MTF attention" and being uncomfortable around MTFs who seem to always receive more special treatment. This is only one example.

There are currently 40,4634 GoFundMe fundraisers for 'top surgery' right now:

Hm, it's quite odd that in a movement that signals itself as progressive, the ones who are really women don't have their problems taken seriously or cared for.

If the whole movement had an issue with gay men not accepting TiFs they would yell and shout about gay men not doing so as much as they do with lesbians. TiMs would be in on this too and they are taken more seriously. But they aren't cause they don't care about problems that only affect women. These Aidens are trying to run for patriarchy but they run right into the muck of it.

Patriarchy does exist in the western world in our good year 2021 lmfao. One clear example is troons, but as I used the patriarchy as a reason for troonism arguing that would be rather circular so I won't use that as an example. Here's a few simple, obvious examples:
- How women that society views as bad are treated compared to men who have done the same thing. A woman being assertive is viewed more negativity than men. There is no male counterpart to Karen that is widely used.
- Women are afraid to walk and be out at night. Why? Because the possibility of men hurting them. Why are men hurting them and not women?
- Acid attacks still happen in Western world, primarily to women. The "if I can't have you, no one can" mentality behind this is from men who wish to destroy their beauty. I will say in the UK most victims are male, but most of this attacks are from gang violence, not personal attacks like the standard motive.
- Men openly harass women who they do not like or do not agree with them. This is obvious with TERFs and how men with the TERF opinions do not get their addresses posted online or their jobs taken from them as much as women
- How lesbians are expected to accept TiMs but gays are not for TiFs.

Does "patriarchy" just mean "men can be bad to women"? I thought it was meant to be a system of consolidated power and oppression and shit.

- men and women face different societal expectations. Definitely true.
- men are stronger and more violent on average. Definitely true.
- some ethnic groups, mostly Muslims from what I can gather, seem to have a thing for throwing acid at women. Definitely true.
- crazy troons harass women. Definitely true.

But this is a collection of observations and complaints, some of them related to the others and some not. It's not that they're not serious complaints. But you could equally take the incel/MRA route and stitch together various observations about women's behavior towards men, divorce, child support, 60% of college students being women, etc. into a grand theory of "misandry" ( :story: ) or "matriarchy" or whatever. It would be equally missing the point.

Life is unfair and some people are crazy assholes, but that doesn't mean there's necessarily a systemic structure of oppression going on. And if we're not talking about a system of oppression it's Quixotic to call it an -archy. Shaking your fist at an imagined conspiracy by car saboteurs when you really just need a new tire or a better car.

I can reasonably assume that you're male, and the thing is you think it's an enemy who doesn't really exist because you are not it's target. Just like how troons will never be a woman and cannot experience what women go through, so will you. You will never experience misogyny in your life, so if you only use your personal experiences as evidence for the patriarchy you will conclude that it doesn't exist. And dismissing the existence of the patriarchy because you don't experience it first hand when most women do and will say they do is arguably an example of the patriarchy itself.

It's true that I'm a man and the CEO of Sexual Harassment ( :punished: ) but I don't think your enemy really exists because there's no real evidence for it existing as a coherent concept. Not being convinced that something exists isn't evidence of it existing, or else Xenu would be real. But I see this rhetorical trick (disagreement with my belief is proof I am right) used a lot by people who are determined to convince themselves.

Life can suck sometimes, and there seems to be a lot more misunderstanding, disappointment and sometimes anger between the sexes than there used to be. It's probably psychologically comforting to aggregate personal setbacks - and the horrible shit you see on social media and the news - into a grand theory of how They (those bastards) are Ruining Everything and that you in particular are a "target". But it also means your righteous anger will be simmering forever and nothing will get fixed, because They aren't going to go away if They weren't really there to begin with.

FFS if you are going to take selfies at least clean the fucking cumstains off the mirror. Why are troons so fucking lazy? And what's with that bulge? Is it a bulge or conveniently placed mirror grime? I can't tell anymore, but it's kind of hilarious.

That aside, this one is weirdly unsettling even compared to the insanity we've seen so far. Looks even faker than the filtered ones. What the fuck did this creature put on its face, feces and chalk? It's so off compared to that pasty white skin tone elsewhere. The Dumbo ears don't help (specially with the earrings making them easy to see from Google's satellite maps).

I once worked with a guy who did shoot himself in the head. Attempted suicide. Really sad sort of affairs.

He didn't really have scars, but one arm would flail about randomly, and was basically useless. His head would twitch. Speech wasn't too affected. He could take orders (fast food) but only on the front register, drive-thru was far too much for him (drive-thru is hard as hell FYI). He would do menial tasks aside from cashier, but he'd forget things like washing his hands after handling money, so he couldn't help with the food. It obviously did quite a number on him, but he was really nice and never complained about his disabilities. Hard worker, to the best of his ability.

Similarly, brother of a good friend tried to off himself similarly. No wild "that dude shot himself in the head" scars, he just looked like he got the shit kicked out of him one too many times.

Nice guy, otherwise.

I'm sorry they went through that. Even though now I know it's possible to not have a scar from something like that, that wasn't the case with the guy I mentioned. He admitted to lying about it for attention. His lie was also VERY bad. Before he admitted that he was lying, he had said he survived because his jaw bone had such pure Slavic strength that it stopped the bullet. Also ignore that the gun was supposedly pointed at his temple. Yes, this all sounds like a joke but it wasn't one. He was serious.

...

Life is unfair and some people are crazy assholes, but that doesn't mean there's necessarily a systemic structure of oppression going on.
There is an actual systemic structure of oppression "going on," though.

Women originally had no rights in this country, and women were considered to be the property of men and not properly "people" the way men were. It was only in the 1850s that women gained the right to have visitation or custody of their children after divorce, and prior to that it was not even a question that the children would stay with the father and the mother would never see them again if he didn't allow it (and he typically didn't). We only gained the right to vote in 1920. We gained the right to have our own bank account in the 1960s - and the right to our own credit cards in 1974. It took until 1978 for the Pregnancy Discrimination Act to be passed, making the extremely common practice of forcing women out of the workplace as soon as they became pregnant illegal. Sexual harassment was not a crime until 1964. It was 1993 before the entire US agreed that women who were married could be raped by their husbands and that it should be a crime for them to do so. I could go on all day describing the rights that women have had to fight for and have only gotten within the last hundred or so years - rights that men have had for hundreds if not thousands of years. Is this not evidence of a systemic structure of oppression, the fact that women had to fight to be allowed even these most basic of rights such as the right not to be raped and to be able to determine for themselves whether or not they wanted to be stay at home parents or continue working? To own a bank account, to be free from sexual harassment? To vote?

To this day, women are consistently barred entry into most prestigious jobs and fields of study in favor of men, and despite being a little over 50% of the population, women hold less than 25% of government positions in the US. A woman has never been president, and we got our very first female vice president during this term. Women constitute less than 25% of judges. Of CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, under 8% are female. Male doctors outnumber female doctors by a ratio of over 3:1. Women are consistently pushed out of male-dominated fields (think engineering, the hard sciences) by means of bullying and sexual harassment, which is almost never punished. Additionally, fields dominated by women are considered to be "lesser" than those dominated by men and command significantly less pay, respect and prestige; Fields that were dominated by women in the past that are now male-dominated (such as computer programming) see a vast increase in pay, respect and prestige once the women are pushed out by the men; Conversely, fields that were dominated by men that become female-dominated (think teaching, biology) see a vast decrease in pay, respect and prestige. Men in female-dominated fields (male teachers, nurses) are paid better than their female peers and are promoted more quickly. Whether in male or female dominated fields, the leaders in the field (managers, bosses, CEOs) all tend to be male. The pay gap still exists, with women making roughly 80% of what men make, regardless of what field they are in.

Women are still considered the default and primary parents in ways that seriously negatively effect them. For example, during covid shutdowns, over 800,000 women left the workforce in September 2020 alone. At the same time, men picked up jobs. Women were not only being laid off and fired at significantly higher rates than men, but also were vastly more likely to be pushed to quit their jobs in order to perform childcare and homeschooling duties when the schools and daycares shut down. Considering the ways in which the economic system punishes women who leave the workforce at any time and for any reason to do with having children, such as taking maternity leave or being a SAHM until the children begin school, this obviously has a seriously detrimental effect on the positions and future earnings of almost one million women that men do not suffer because men are not expected to give up their jobs to provide childcare when schools and daycares are not an option. Mothers are also more often the ones who have to take time off if the kids are sick, to attend school functions, etc. and schools are more likely to call the mother if they need a parent to come pick up a child or attend to a situation even if the mother is working full time and the father is not, all of which has a negative effect on the woman's career.

Additionally, women are discriminated against in medicine overall. Women are markedly less likely to be believed by doctors when they discuss their issues, more likely to be handwaved off, and more likely to have their pain and suffering dismissed as "mental illness". Women's pain is taken less seriously than men's pain, and they are less likely to be prescribed painkillers. Medicines and treatments are almost universally trialed only on men, which causes issues for women who have unexpected side effects. Obstetric violence - that is, the abuse of women who are in the process of giving birth - is rampant and goes completely unpunished. The maternal mortality rate in the US is among the highest in the developed world, largely due to lack of adequate care and (primarily male) doctors not believing women about their own symptoms and pain.

In the area of actual mental health issues... well, women used to literally be lobotomized if they failed to quietly and nicely perform their expected household duties, got upset if their husband raped them, and so on. Medically unnecessary electro-shock therapy, sexual assault as "treatment" (when doctors would use vibrators on unwilling women in order to "treat" their depression), etc. were also all used to torture women who did not fulfill their societal role with a smile. Women who are mentally ill are discriminated against within the system, even today, with things like performing expectations of femininity such as wearing makeup and shaving their legs being held as signs of how their mental health is doing, with women who refuse to shave or wear makeup reporting that their stays in in-patient care were lengthened and they were specifically told that the doctors did not believe they were getting better due solely to their refusal to perform femininity. Women still struggle to be taken seriously regarding their mental health issues.

Let's... not get into the plastic surgery industry and the way they prey on young women and girls (they have TikTok accounts now!) and "train" them seek out cosmetic surgeries that can leave them without sexual sensation, with painful nerve damage, etc. I would be here all week.

Rape is at epidemic levels pretty much everywhere in the world. Femicide - the targeted murder of women and girls - is epidemic all over the world. Trafficking, which primarily targets women and female children, is rampant all over the US and the world. In many countries, sex-selective abortion and the murder of female infants due to the perception that they are "worthless" and that male children are more valuable has led to a deficit of millions of women who should be alive today. Child marriage, which virtually always involves a female child and a male adult, is legal and happens in nearly all of the world, including in the US where, so long as the parents consent, children are legally permitted to be married off as young as twelve. Pornography is rampant and all of the most popular categories involve women being degraded, beaten and raped by men, including men pretending to be male relatives, and this is seen as socially acceptable.

Look at all of this - and there is more, there is so much more, I could go on for hours about this but I have food waiting - and tell me that the patriarchy doesn't exist, that there is no systemic structure of oppression. When women have had to fight for decades just to get the basic human rights that men have enjoyed for thousands of years. When women are still oppressed and discriminated against in virtually every area of society. When the rape of women (by men) is epidemic, and every man has hundreds of thousands of videos of women being degraded, beaten and raped by men accessible on his cellphone at all times. When women are still barred from accessing positions of power in practically every area and industry.

I want to note that I did y'all a kindness by focusing primarily on issues that still currently exist, and did not dip into the background of patriarchy and its evolution over past centuries. Because that would have taken way, way too long and it is a dang holiday. Go eat some turkey!

I'm more concerned about those weird growths than the fact he's pissing out of a hole in his labia.

I love this sub. It never fails to make me laugh.

I was not prepared, dear god.

No kiwifarms before dinner.

@Sourceress - that's exactly what I'm talking about. You're throwing every bad or arguably bad thing that could happen or might have happened to women at the wall to create a Jackson Pollock painting of misery, and giving the title "Patriarchy". :stress:

MRA guys could produce a similar litany of injustices and indignities that men suffered and continue to suffer and offer it as "proof" of how those damn feminazis are oppressing his life and his penis.

Troons, Incels and Hoteps do the exact same shit to keep their grievances warm. Looking at the world thru this lens must be exhausting, and people from 200 years ago would think we were crazy for using the supercomputer in our pocket, while sitting in our warm, comfortable, electrified homes full of food and luxuries, to complain about living in the wealthiest and freest societies humans have ever created. Imma try to be thankful instead. 🦃:hulk:
