Ehhh it's hard to compare, but its also wrong to compare because you are comparing Year 0 & Year 1 COVID to Year 100+ influenzas.
Most strains are honestly less lethal than COVID, even taking into account the fraudulent inflation of COVID, but some strains such as Swine Flu (2-4% lethality) and Avian Flu (>50% mortality) are most certainly deadlier.

Interestingly enough, despite a lower lethality influenzas seem to exhibit higher morbidity, so a flu case is more likely to manifest symptoms across the board, whereas COVID is more likely to be asymptomatic.

One variant of the Influenza-B strain *might* have been wiped out; however, if its because of moosks and magical 6ft spaces or if its just because it got out-competed by COVID is still up for debate.
That being said, the other major variant of Influenza-B is alive and well in the wild, as are all the variants of Influenza strains A & C.

Flu testing was also notably less intense during the 2020-2021 seasons because of COVID, and all "unknown respiratory virus" cases were just assumed COVID, as were COVID-Influenza coinfections.
